yeah he has yet to have a gtst give him a go? but i think he has only raced a couple. I never under estimate soarers the 1jz has some lethal potential if it has a manual box and traction control attached to it!!

the driver looked australian. caucasian with blonde (dyed?) hair. car was blue. looked like a MY98 or 97? well because he stalled it he didnt get to show us if it had any go. puckish, yes i am a witness to TT soarer beating wrxs, my mate has raced 2 of them while i was in the car, and has beaten both, the closest was one which had aftermarket air intake mods (exhaust, pod etc..)

Right on both, is a auto TT, and yes his (neon?!) heart was shattered!

hmmmm.. one thing i didnt ask - how fellow melbourne 'liners are? Is this how all you behave?? Ps. stop highjackin' my thread!

funny incident.. Was cruising with my mate last night in his TT Soarer. Pull up to a set of lights on leach highway, and a 'glowing' wrx pulls up next to us. He had neon light instrument cluster (which was literally glowing outside the car!), what looked to be neon light surrounding the exhaust!!? wtf?? plus glowing windscreen wipers and various stickers in and around his car. anyway, he looked over at us and gave us the thumbs up, so i looked back over at him and gave him the thumbs down . He then wound his window down and said 'what was that for?!' i said 'why all the glowing lights, christmas isnt until a couple of months?'. he got a really confused look on his face and by this time the lights had gone green, so he went to nail it, and stalled it!! so my mate just floored the soarer and left his ricey ass for dead!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

cheers guys, excellent reviews. yeah i understand what you are saying funkymonkey, melbourne would definately have more IT people than perth, but i guess there would be more jobs to compensate? So the money for IT would be better in Perth?? thats a suprise? I think we are really under payed here in IT. Women in Perth are hard to beat for looks, for sure! but its just the mind that accompanies it, i think melbourne chicks might be more my type, a little more sophisticated. Well considering all, im still keen to cross the country, but i will have to find a job before i arrive, and if i go through with it, it certainly wont be at least until July 2003 (cant miss the perth summer!)

ok i have looked underneath the car and spotted a leak. so I guess the possibility of air in the lines could be out, and im assuming i have a hole somewhere in the lines, or the pump may have a broken seal?? yeah i have topped up the fluid warpspeed, but i think the air in the lines is not my prob now. my next q. is where do i get some genuine power steering specialists to check out/fix prob in perth??

yeah i saw the N1 for sale at crisafio's, damn nice and a good price for a genuine N1. My question is what is faster out of the N1 or 400R?? completley stock that is?? my assumption is the 400R!

How would i go about draining the power steering fluid? is there a plug or something somewhere, which i can unplug to drain the fluid in the lines? thanks for the help guys..

Well i think i have ratted my power steering doing .. err humm silly things The power steering now has a slight whine to it? and when the car is stationery the steering is extremely hard to turn (ie. power steering does not actually engage until i start accelerating). I got a wheel alignment done recently and the guy told me that my power steering fluid was a bit low, and some bubbles were in it. Possibly indicating the pump has gone.. Anyone else had this prob? If so was it the pump, and how much/where do i get one of these from??

im after a set of 18's for my N/A SII R33 (4 stud pattern) and also some side skirts (similar veilside or GTR), front lip for spec 2, and if possible i would love a flat boot

speaking of 34's saw a white one - gtt, on aberdeen street in northbridge last friday night. lined up behind him at the lights and fanged it, but obviously my n/a didnt match a 206kw neo engine, didnt see the license plates though.. :burnout:

will give the interior the thumbs up, but as diduc said, a jap spec engine would at least make it worthy of wearing a GT badge... otherwise its a aussie 200sx with some riceboy putting skyline bagdes on it?!! :lol:

absolute rip off!! I really think the main reasons behind that price are; a) Southside Mitsubishi would have no idea about a Toyota Supra, especially considering it is not aus spec. B) They are jumping on the import bandwagon and want to rip off any potential boy racer who wants the 'look' of a Supra.

Dont know if you will find a spec2 with all that fruit through private/dealer for 24k in Perth? But you never know, i guess as long as you are prepared for a long hard look..
