At the moment my HICAS light is on and the system doesnt work and I assume its due to the boss kit i got atm. Does this boss kit keep the HICAS functioning?

I have an aftermarket wheel and my HICAS light is on 24/7. I checked the connection to the fuse & HICAS computer today and that all seems fine If anyone can remember the URL for the page on hicas + aftermarket wheel it would be greatly appreciated!

Flipping the topic over.... My hicas light is on 24/7 and I want to enable the hicas on my line again...when I bought it, it was disabled and the guy I bought it from said he just disconnected something from the back. I just had a look and the rear fuse box has a 20A fuse in the hicas spot which is all good (although i will remove the fuse tommorow to check if its blown). I noticed 2 silver boxes near the fuse box hanging from the roof. The top one larger than the bottom one. If anyone knows the boxes im describing then are any of these 2 the hicas computer? If so i guess something could be disconnected from them. Any other places I can check for a loose wire/fuse before I realise he sold me a ****ed hicas system and said it was just disconnected?

On this topic. If my dash has an ABS light thats visible when all the dash lights are on does that mean I have ABS? Are there any other ways of finding out other than some hard braking ? Oh, 1993 R33 GTST

Hey guys, After reading this article: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=42895 I see that the standard boost control solenoid on an r33 is plumbed differently to the way mine is. My one basically has the line coming off of the top part of the solenoid going to god knows where connected fine, but the bottom line which in the pictures in the article shown as having the vaccumm line connected to it is missing on mine. Pictures of what i mean are here: http://bur.st/~rinmak/r33 When i bought the car it had an aftermarket boost controller sitting on the vaccumm line. Since then i have removed the boost controller and just connected the vaccumm line back to itself with the white adaptor you see in the pics. Basically so that the vaccumm line is one line. So my question ultimately, is the way that my car is plumbed ok? Would i see any benefits by connecting the hose back to the way it is in the article?

Hey guys, Need a few parts for my line. For a 93 model R33 coupe. I need: The little cup thing that you put your hand in when opening/closing the drivers door. Mine snapped off, if you want to sell the whole drivers side control thingo (all the pwr windows/locking shit aswell) I will be interested still. The little plastic clip that keeps the largeish storage compartment in the middle closed. If you remove the screws on the bottom of the lid to that area its quite easily accessible. If anyone could help that would be grand!! Also if anyone knows of a good wreckers in Aus that should be able to help me out please let me know! Thanks
