  1. so tyres, clutch, intercooler. manual gearbox, all the pedals and crap, LSD diff, brakes etc are free? you really do need all the above otherwise you might as well just buy one with it all for $5k
  2. LOL would that even generate 1psi of positive pressure? looks the size of a hair drier especially with those tiny gauge wires.
  3. as all these guys have said, youll spend 10k doing it properly, maybe a few grand initially doing it on the cheap then when stuff breaks and you end up doing it properly it will all add up. Just buy one already turbo'd it will be cheaper trust me, just ask anyone who has already done it. You need tyres, suspension, clutch, fuel pump, tuning etc, these are all the added extras on top of turboing the motor assuming it doesn't explode.
  4. regarding whoever said wouldnt a leak cause it to run rich, you you had the car tuned with the leak then they would obviously tune it out so this is still plausible.
  5. you are underestimating how cheap it is to build one, and trust me, shit will break that you will have to fix.

  11. get a 15psi+ actuator and run 18psi, doesn't really look that bad to me but you are only running 15psi so it won't make massive power, could be a lazy actuator making the boost come on later.

  14. A loose ECU connector will do that, I put an alarm system in mine and it kept dropping to 4-5 cylinders, undid and screwed the ECU connector back in and it came good (had to remove it for the alarm)

I have an R33 series 1/2 (not sure) rb25det head for sale, it has no accessories, just the head with rocker covers, cams etc. Came off motor a few weeks ago due to the motor blowing, only runs on 4 cylinders so thinking rings. Valves all look fine on the head, turns over by hand with no issues, very clean no oil gunk, was re conditioned 7000kms ago, have receipts. Going to replace the motor with a NEO six so selling off the bits, would suit rb30det conversion. Can get pictures tomorrow but it looks like any other rb25 head, clean with motul 8100 oil used, changed twice in its lifetime. Location: Adelaide Contact: Call me on 0423 277 771 or PM me here.
  19. Got a set of rims for sale, they are pretty standard 17x8 and 17x9 black 5 spoke rims, no gutter rash and in good condition. They need new tyres as the sidewall on the front right has a gash in it but holds air fine and the rear ones are fairly bald. They will drive you to the tyre shop but they certainly are not legal. Here are some pictures. Not sure of the offset but they sit perfectly on an r32 gtst, sit about half a cm in the guards so they are legal and fill out the guards well, no scrubbing or anything like that. Can possible organise cheap 2nd hand tyres if needed. Can send interstate but will probably cost a bit. Asking $350 ono Can call on <removed> or PM on here.

  21. Ah so you have to drill each runner, bit of a pain, though guess it is cheap insurance.
  22. How much is decent data logging equipment like that worth? Certainly be a worth while investment. Also how do you attach the thermocouples?

  24. Yep pinging is the death of most motors, I was under the impression that even not pinging once you got to those kind of torque levels it would damage stock cast pistons as well. Learn something new every day How do you monitor temps to make sure they aren't getting cooked, do you just do it based on the EGTs at the collector? if so what kind of temps do you aim to keep it under?
  25. by stock bottom end do you mean stock pistons as well? how on earth do they cope with the cylinder pressures that 444kw creates at peak torque? or has your tuner flattened out peak torque a bit?
