  1. Heres my baby with new rims 17x9.5 on the rear and 17x8 on the front. http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php/topic,63981.0.html 31club thread
  2. Was that the street commodores grease test? Even they admitted it was an unreliable test.
  3. Its actually mmHG not psi when you are talking about the negative units on your boost guage. You can't really have negative pounds per square inch if you think about it. But yeah mine sits on ~ -20 on idle.
  4. Why would twins deliver the power any differently from an appropriately sized single?
  5. The tyre will hang over the edge and it won't handle as well due to the increased sidewall flex. It will definitely fit though.
  6. 13L/100km with mainly city driving/hills runs. RB20DET in a HR31 Doesn't seem to change at all with my driving style, always basically the same.
  7. I've got 235x45s on a 7.5 rims and the bulge over the edge on an angle, handles pretty average though I don't have a lot to compare it with.
  8. When you did the comp tests were they just generally low numbers or was there lots of variance? Because if its been sitting for ages its quite likely it will be down.
  9. Use the search thread option then, it'll highlight posts with the information you want.
  10. Yeah its group 4
  11. Bah, Id take sound over power. Its gonna make bugger all diff to the power.
  12. What's the point if you are going to buy a GTR? put the money towards the GTR, you'll have it sooner and probably able to buy something already built saving you even more money in the end.
  13. Sounds like your scanner is playing funny buggers, shouldn't have any trouble with that site.
  14. But stock afm/injectors are almost 20 years old now, surely it'd be risky to think they are still working the same as when they came out the factory?
  15. You sure about that? I'd definitely invest in a wideband O2 sensor for tuning and make sure you hook up some sort of knock detection as well.
  16. Get a remap, I bet its running way to rich. That was the cause of mine and alot of other misfires. The ultra rich condition often brings the worn coil packs to their knees hence new coil packs/plugs fixing the issue.
  17. Revving in neutral doesn't really show much, really gotta do a drive by as its always going to sound different under load. Personally I've never really heard any NA rb's that sound nice, most have a horrible rasp to them.
  18. $530 is decent for your age. I'm 20 and get 3rd party F&T for $480 on a turbo HR31, it was ~780 when I was 18 though.
  19. I'm pretty sure it makes bugger all diff having them on the same channel, theres plenty of bandwidth to go around.
  20. Computer for me always.
  21. People with standard everything just an exhaust/boost increase get this problem as well though.
  22. Lots of cars run with no bov, search for 'flutter' and read the countless threads arguing about not running a bov. Its not going to do any harm if you are running basically standard boost.
  23. No bov makes flutter sound, you just had the bov on way too tight so it was essentially blocked off. If you want flutter run no bov.
  24. All of mine have done it as well, one misfired badly when it was doing it, the other just has a very slight drop in power.
  25. I'm sure its better then any oil that was around when your car was made.
