The only codecs I've found I ever need are xvid/divx and ffdshow. Haven't had any issues running any formats and I download a lot of movies/tv shows. I use media player classic and vlc player for some files that have issues skipping into them.

They'd make 230rwkw with a remap, exhaust, boost increase and fueling to suit. Came with a TO4 from factory.

I'd take the rb20 every time purely for the sound. The noise is very important if its a road going car and I want to enjoy the experience. I still stand by that the rb20 is the best sounding rb ever.

Remap is the best $400 I ever spent. Was done on a dyno. With the standard ECU as soon as you add a big exhaust and up the boost they run ridiculously rich ~10:1 afr. With the remap I had it leaned out to 12:1 throughout the rev range/load points. In turn I get MUCH better economy, power is up from 127 to 151rwkw. More top end, smoother idle. Its just so much better. Had the speed limit removed as well. Highly recommended, just as good as a stand alone ECU as they can do timing and fuel. You still retain your standard knock features, excess air flow cut (if say your waste gate hose splits). I got mine done via the speed lab, he should be here on these forums do a search. R33 computers are very hard to remap so not many people do them, if any at all.

Some more info on the famous misfire problem. If you have a stock motor and have just slapped an exhaust/pod/upped the boost to 12psi with stock ecu, then they can run very very rich. Mine was getting down to 9:1, had to gap the plugs to .6 WITH splitfire coils for it to not miss. Even still in cold weather it would miss. Got a remap (12:1) and I can run 1.1 all day everyday. Often a combination of shagged coils/bad tune will cause the misfire.

Yeah the $5 5mb plans are only as an addition to a plan, you can't get it by itself. With prepaid you pay per 5mins not per mb so it would be incredibly expensive.

I actually just did some research and if you have a spare GPRS phone (basically every phone these days) and have it set up for internet you can download a tracking application for it. Chuck it under your backseat and you can track it via google earth/maps. I uses about 5kb/hour bandwidth so the $5 5mb a month gprs plans will suffice. If I can find a way to get just GPRS on a phone and have calls disabled on it it will be a very cheap security system. Could get a phone and wire it up to the cars power supply for under $100 + $80 for a gps then ~$100 a year on the mob costs. Not much when you are already paying $1k for insurance.
