Yeah it looks more like something that is for oldschool v8s on the drag strip/track. Even still it'll protect the motor no problems though.

probably fine.

300Kw Unopened 25 Club...
Rolls replied to joeyjoejoejuniorshabadoo's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
yeah lol at set PSI, ok I'll run 22psi on a 70cm turbo from a mine truck, it'll be fine. I love the neo head as well, simon doesn't like them though as they tend to ping more than the r33 one but they make more down low with a nicer torque curve due to the better VCT -

After 158 pages of discussion the jury is out. The best course of action is to just not drive your skyline until further discussion can figure out what oil is best to use!

Found A Easy Way To Do A R32 Rb25 Conversion
Rolls replied to dantheman88's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Anyone else who is looking to do this have a read of my thread towards the end, bit more info. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/371596-rollss-r32-in-the-processing-of-fitting-a-neo-25/page-5#entry7457080 -
Sorry gave you a bum steer there, you need the ENTIRE series 1 rb25det throttle body including TPS as the neo one has traction control which the rb20 ECU will obviously be unable to control. Also HIGHLY recommend you wire in the VCT, adds 15kw in the midrange which makes a large difference. Kills about 10-15kw from the topend if you don't switch it off at 4500 rpm.

It was a blessing in disguise, the xr6t I have now makes 340rwkw with peak torque at 3k and peak power not much after 4k until 6k. Torque monster, so much nicer to drive as well. To keep the ECU you really need to keep most the sensors,I used RB25DET series 1 intake and everything so it was a bit easier as I only bought a long motor, not one with loom and everything else. Either way CAS has to be re-wired back to front, eg 4-1 3-2 2-3 1-4 I used knock sensors from an rb25det series 1 though the neo ones might be compatible though, I used the neo coil packs and simply cut the rb20 igniter off, eg wire all the inputs to the igniter direct to the coils. I don't have a drawing as it is so simple to figure out once you look at the wiring. Z32 AFM (you'll max the rb20 one so fast it isn't funny). my mate did it with all the neo running gear and only changed the cas wiring, removed igniter for coils and replaced TPS, everything else just worked I'm pretty sure. I'll msg him and double check for you. edit: My mate used full neo motor with rb20 loom said all he did is use all series 1 rb25det TPS, deleted the traction control from the TB, wire cas back to front and he wired the VCT to have power permanently (not optimal but better than running without it). Most of the plugs from the rb20 loom will plug into the neo sensors, you might need to swap the injector plugs I think that is all. I have the eboost street for sale that I used if you want it, it needs a new loom which is about $80 so will sell the unit for cheap. It is really easy to do, only took us a few hours to do the electrical work and it started even with the rb20 tune (though didn't drive).

Aircon Regassers In Melbourne That Use Hychill Hr12 Gas
Rolls replied to funkymonkey's topic in Victoria
$400 just to empty the system??? You can get an entire new compressor for $1k, I would be going back to them and politely (or not so politely) asking for a large lump of that money back! -
I didn't have them and the guy at regency said you need them, however as that was the only defect (minor) he said "I trust you will install them" and didn't worry about it. You have to cut holes in the carpet on the parcel shelf to put them in so up to you what you want to do, maybe just temporarily remove the parcel shelf so it is harder for them to argue. Call them up and ask even.

The BF and FG will make >400rwkw with the stock turbo, exhaust, diff and gearbox all day everyday, the BAs won't handle more than 250 before blowing both of them up though. You would definitely need a massive bonnet bulge to fit it in, quite a tall motor.

Thats what happens when you run 3L with good turbos, you guys should have a look at the dyno curves xr6 turbos make!
