  1. Google confirms they are highflowed stock injectors.
  2. My mate bought bosch EV14 500s and said he needed a spacer to fit them in his rail, was an rb20 rail though, perhaps that is why?
  3. Apart from the Deatchwerks are any of the others bolt in? I don't want to have to use an adaptor and have them see it and fail me.
  4. The 740s are only $50 more than the 550s, there is no reason to not get them is there? Only aiming for 250kw, maybe 300 in the future but I see 250 being plenty for quite some time.
  5. been defected and Regency park here in Adelaide are VERY anal and thorough, he picked my highflow last time because it was 'cleaner than everything else, you've had this rebuilt haven't you'. They check literally everything, they are so clued up they know that Z32 afms have an orange sticker instead of green, I'm sure they know what colour the injectors are meant to be.
  6. might be worth grabbing them just so I can match the colour, you don't want anything for them?
  7. Yeah if you could, I want to make them look stock so I might paint the connectors.
  8. What colour are stock rb25 injectors? I can't find any pictures.
  9. so stock r33 rail has plenty of options?
  10. One run down the street should be fine surely? Just don't drive through gravel or anything like that. I'd be more worried about the sock getting eaten.
  11. ah I have to select 'search titles only' even though I put nothing in the search field, bit counter intuitive.
  12. Thanks for that. Any reason why the other search doesn't seem to work? Eg if I wanted to search for all threads made in a certain forum section etc?
  13. I want to find all the threads I've created, but for some reason I can't. I put my name in the author section, select forums only, return topic list and it gives me like 3 threads of mine, then a bunch of random threads I've posted in. I want to find ONLY threads where I am the author, not threads I've posted in. How can I do this?
  14. I have to go through a defect inspection which means I need a stock rail to pass, I have an r34 neo motor with an r33 intake on it currently, what 'stock' fuel rail out of rb20/25s will give me the best injector options and bolt in without modification? I was planning to change this as the stupid alloy rail and aftermarket reg I have now sucks and I don't like it (came with the car) plus it will never pass an inspection so this has sped up my plans. The car has been legally registered with the rb25 so this is not an issue. I've done a bit of a search but not really found any definite answer, I would be looking to put in 550 to 700cc injectors, preferably ones with a better than stock spray pattern, if a resistor pack is needed that is not an issue. I'm pretty sure the r33 intake uses a side mount fuel rail standard so would like to keep it looking stock. What are my options? edit: Also I doubt this but are there any distinguishing features on stock injectors, eg colour etc on rb25s? I don't know what they look like, will try and paint whatever I get a similar colour.
  15. did you pressure test the intake?
  16. yeah, might cancel and just finish it all off as no doubt they will fail it.
  17. How many of you guys have got through regency with aftermarket fuel rail + injectors etc? I have an alloy fuel rail with an aftermarket fuel reg and GTR injectors, I'm going to take it through with them still in there as Im quite sure they will fail me on a few things so I'd like to get a nice list. So yeah anyone got through with aftermarket injection? I've painted everything matte black so it doesn't stand out like dogs balls, but I get the feeling they are pretty switched on.
  18. painted the fuel reg and rail matte black, made a mount for my pod, removed the boost controller and put the stockies on. Thinking I might relocate the fuel reg under the manifold, should be easy enough to do, will make things much easier if I don't have to go buy a new rail + injectors + retune.
  19. hence it is not right for your car just get it tuned properly, there is no easy way to fix the problem, proper tune or put the car back to stock.
  20. I would imagine most would go twins then, unless they mount the turbo at the front/back of the motor. Be interesting to see the layout.
  21. I think it will come down to engine configuration as to the deciding factor for packaging.
