Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 3
dodgybrooks replied to dodgybrooks's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
The car has been picked up from the broker in Adelaide and was in perfect condition. It will have the roof fixed hopefully in the next two weeks and then be ready for compliance/registration. -

The car has arrived and I have recieved the invoice from the broker meaning the car has already passed quarantine/customs and is ready to be transported from the docks. -

It's being shipped with KIWI who have insurance included in their price, but on what I've read and heard, trying to get money out of them if the car is damaged is next to impossible. Then again it's apparently true of all the shipping companies, it seems to be a dodgy trade. -

Latest: Received the Bill of Lading from the shipping company today which means she is now on her way to Australia. Will be arriving on December 19th, all going to plan. -

Great cars in the photos mate, not sure about that ugly looking bloke that seemed to sneak into a few of them though..... Looks like you had a much more enjoyable day than me. f*k that test is hard!! I asked a proctor and it looks like it is only held once a year, too.

Here is he latest on getting her back to Australia and registered: Due to paperwork hassles, it has been put back a ship and will now be arriving around December 20th. After customs/quarantine and transport to my parents place it will have the roof replaced (it probably won't pass roadworthy as it is) and then be fitted with a personal import plate and registered. All this should be finished around early/mid January, when it will be ready to pass on to a buyer. -

Being a private import it has to be first registered in the name of the person on the import approval, ie. me, and to be registered it obviously first needs to be complianced. So upon sale it will only require the same paperwork as any other used car would. -

Yea it's been amazing fun, hope it can go to a good home. I am not realistically expecting 25g for it, so if anyone is genuinely interested, then please make me an offer! -

R32 Gtr Standard Airbox
dodgybrooks replied to sssrama's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Still up for sale? -
It's a warning. Apparently the part it is attached to is for competition specific cars and is not to be used on public roads. Doesn't say anything about what the part is. Seems the part is made by Tibio?

I taught a Japanese mate how to say 'Suck my dick if you wanna live' one night at a concert. He went round saying it to everyone until he got his nose broken by a chick who must have understood. He was drumming for one of the bands who was playing that night. I enjoyed seeing the fruits of my work up on stage with a bloody red shirt and the sleeve of his jumper tied around his face trying to keep his nose from falling off. He quit after the 1st song, got smacked around a bit by the singer who was well pissed off, and took himself to hospital.

DoCoMo is cool, AU and Vodafone are not. DoCoMo is insanely expensive, AU and Vodafone are not. DoCoMo's coverage was once the best but is not getting any better, AU and Vodafone's is as good as/better than DoCoMo and getting better. Most people use DoCoMo, including me. I pay about 4000yen a month for unlimited packet transfer ie. mail and internet (porn, porn, porn, porn, auctions, porn, porn) and another 2thou for calls. I don't get coverage in my house so I have to plug it into a cord attached to an antenna outside (so much for mobile). 6thou for a phone with shite coverage sounds like studipity, which DoCoMo is all about, but everybody is on DoCoMo here and it's cool to follow the crowd. Using AU and Vodafone gets you funny looks.
