Yea it says that a problem with the engine's electronic control system may have occurred and although the chance of the car all of a sudden keeling over and dying, you should avoid driving quickly and take it to a Nissan dealer asap. It must be hooked up to the Navi system because the 1st button you pressed would have given you directions to Nissan dealerships, the second petrol stations and the 3rd JAF (the equivalent of RAA or RACV). Buttons are car info, birds eye view, details/zoom in zoom out, map/menu, map, 2nd screen back delete screen change screen OK

I didn't really get that mate. I dunno but maybe it was because I lived out in the country and the people made no assertions of being able to speak English.... And you won't miss Japan as much as you think. Especially if, like you are, you make plans to go back and visit once in a while. You can fit in all the good bits of Japan in nice little bite size two week pieces and not come across any of the shit.

StePHen was in Japan from about the middle of 2003 to June this year, 5 years. I'm back in Australia now and have no plans of heading back any time soon for anything other than a holiday.

Did you buy the box new? If so then you probably won't need to overhaul it anytime soon so you shouldn't need anything written on that sheet. Except maybe for the table which is the new ratios for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, or if you are Japanese 1th, 2th and 3th.
