  1. Yea NSII should only be used as rear tyres of RR cars, and only for a minimum of half a day until they delaminate.
  2. It says exactly: 注意:エキゾーストバルブには金属ナトリウムが封入されています。廃却方法は整備要領書に従って下さい。 Kinda surprised you couldn't read it as the pic is pretty clear. What you were really after was a translation hey, not a smartarse like me..... You'd better ask an expert.
  3. The problem is that this guy is a registered Japanese driving instructor: http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=KbOBQNTEC8c http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=-bvwYiSBkFk Air drift.... love it.
  4. The way anyone gets good at anything, hard work. There is no short cut.
  5. and if you had a KPGC10 GTR as well you'd be in even better business! Can't have Ken and Mellie with out your Hakosuka!!
  6. I use a mac.........
  7. You need to send DOTARS a copy of your Japanese licence when applying for Personal Import approval......... And when did you turn American m3gtr?? License
  8. `twas fun.
  9. Ha, no sarcasm but words straight out of Kobayashi-san the arsehole boss of MCR's mouth. Although being second hand information, it comes without a warranty and is strictly No Claim No Return. But seriously, that many have crashed and apparently it's due to black box overload. When you start hitting ripple strips whilst applying the brakes or do other crazy maneuvers at high g-loads that pro drivers wouldn't do, the ABS, AYC, ALC, ADG, ARI, AVB and all the other anti fun devices overload and leave you to control an out of control 1700kg missile yourself.
  10. So far five have been trashed at Fuji Speedway and three at Tsukuba. Apparently their black box blacks out when things get over a certain limit and sends itself, and the car, into the closest wall.
  11. I went to MCR the other day and theirs wasn't for sale, although the gearbox was on the way out. Kobayashi the boss says owners should factor in a new gearbox into their yearly maintenance budget, like 86 drivers do for their T50. Kinda steep at 1,500,000yen though....... He's waiting for Holiger and HKS to bring out their boxes. The arrogant prat also didn't have anything positive to say about overseas tuners, so someone in Aus please make a super quick r35.
  12. On a sticker using the kanji would look cool! 豪州団 or 豪州族 or something like that
  13. I've also heard that you have to drop the first zero on the number, so if the mobile number you were given is 090 ........ then dial all the numbers you need to get out of Australia then 90 ..........
  14. Close enough to
  15. We have? Was that you at Fuji Speedway with Poida at D1 a couple of years ago? Shit my memory is bad......
  16. I heard. Poor fella, he'll smash it next year though. And try 'Stephen', it'll stop me from smashing you if we ever meet
  17. I wouldn't worry about it, it is no magic ticket to meanginful employment and you loose the cute angle with the chicks. All pain no gain.
  18. Akeenan, this is what they look like mate:
  19. I'd seriously consider staying too if I could get 'real' work. Level 1 in the Japanese test and an Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree (albeit a bit dated) still hasn't found me anything......... Cheap cars, awesome roads, no cops to police them, cheap tracks, cheap parts, awesome food, awesome snowboarding, onsen, TV that makes less sense the more Japanese you can speak, a booming anti-balding hair treatment industry and snack bars I love this place. Australia isn't bad though either!
  20. Thanks for bringing the party and allowing me to help you help Sapporo in solving it's beer surplus situation! Have you thought any more about setting up an Onsen in Australia? When I get home I'm gonna need a place to practice extreme relaxation and hetrosexual nakedness.

    Number Plates

M3gtr, when you deregister any car you have to surrender the plates so when you go and deregister your car before you get her crushed and don't surrender the plates (you tell them that they were stolen and go and get a police report) you are doing committing the same illegal, pretty offensive act as readyGO has. And as a Japanese resident, I would find that insulting if I hadn't done it myself a couple of times already.

    D1 R35

Dude, the picture says クラッチペダルがないのできっかけはサイドと慣性しか使えない Because there is no clutch pedal, all you can use is the handbrake and inertia. I don't think your Japanese is the problem, you either didn't put your glasses on or sank to many glasses (probably both) before reading it. Also Nomuken is building a Toyota Progress (MarkX platform) for this year's D1, so the story goes.
  23. You meant Tokyo Station hey.
