  1. The test and fees are only half of the cost when you drive a modified car, the other half is getting it back into 'roadworthy' condition to pass the test.
  2. Car in Japanese is sha, so a Bosozoku car is a Bosozokusha, or Zokusha.
  3. You boys are thinking backwards. You make the car fit the wheels. Zokusha is kinda like the ute culture in Aus. Feral. http://jp.youtube.com/user/jyoutou I am simply making the best of what I have. 9 and 10 inch wheels and in 14s,195/60 are the most common and cheap size. Cheap is good when at best they only last a day's play.

  5. Stretching isn't a recent thing at all mate, been going on for years. And another good reason for doing it is so you can fit huge dished rims on a car so low that scrapes on man holes. Read up about 1980s Japanese 'Zokusha'. Yea 195/60/14 gives you a bit of tyre wall to play with. I recon you would have a hard time getting the air into a 195 low profile on a 17, it just wouldn't seal.

    Anime/Manga

Yea the Bounto bit in Bleach is shit hey, but it never came out in the manga as it was just a filler while the TV producers were waiting for the manga guys to write the books. I was reading the manga and watching a bit of the anime on TV and it screwed with me as the stories went completely different there for a while. Yea and the Full Metal Alchemist manga rocks, haven't watched the anime but the books are well cool!!
  7. I've hit kerbs running 195 on 10inch (see pic below), bent the rim and the tyre hasn't popped off. If you manage to pop any tyre off any rim then please teach me how to do it.
  8. No one is too interested in Aussie drift over here mate. When they find out you are from Aus all they want for christmas are presents from Hollinger and Motec. Or old Celica bodies. Sometimes old Carolla van bodies. And they ask lots of questions about what old Kawasaki Honda Yamaha bikes were sold in Aus. But mainly new presents from Hollinger and Motec. They also tell you to stop stealing all the SR20s, there are none around for spare parts anymore. Can you bring me some Vegimite?
  9. Before it is registered you need to have it complianced. You can find info on the compliance regulations for privately imported cars on DOTARS and your state's Department of Transport web sites. The rules are less stringent than compliance for cars imported under SEVS and modifications are OK, makes things a little easier.
  10. A first year with 70+g?? Why did I have to be born to plebs.....
  11. Parking permits etc depend on how rural you are living. I don't need any proof of parking where I live. Only 5,000 people in the town.
  12. What you are looking for has been deleted and hasn't yet been reposted. It probably means the auction has already ended. If it's back up again then maybe it wasn't sold the first time.
  13. May I be of assistance? Although I don't live that close to Hokkaido, and I don't get out of bed for less than a million dollars.
  14. I live in Kanto, so it's probably not just a local thing.
  15. Sorry to be pedantic but they are called mama charis(bikes), even though most of their peddlers are school kids......
  16. Funky, I heard your grandma is an obasan.
  17. It also comes with a Roadworthy Certificate

  21. Wow, looks kinda fast. They were saying in the clip that it is an RB26/30, tuned down from over 1000hp. And it does 8 sec 0-400.
  22. Yea was in no rush to sell it as I live in Japan and have enough cars here to keep me occupied, but as dad is getting jacked off with it taking up space that he wants to use for his cars, it's time to really have a go a selling it.
  23. $21,000 Really keen to see it go so make an offer!
