  1. I tried and there isn't enough bolt to secure both the pineapples and the alloy bushes. If you thinned down the pineapple then you could probably get them in there.
  2. Interested parties, make me an offer!!
  3. Yea nice. What and where do you race?
  4. Is the Mt Fuji shot from the Chuo highway?
  5. I just put in C-style solid cradle bushes in my 180 and the bolts for the rear member are not long enough to accommodate the pineapples (which I bought at the same time) as well, so beware of that. By the way which would be best to use? The solid cradle bushes or the pineapples? I'm in a competition this week so went with the solid cradle bushes as I though that they wouldn't change too drastically the handling of the car, but will try the pineapples at some stage. PS. I drift.
  6. In all honesty I can't understand why you would get a car loan for 30g. I am one of those ununderstandable people living in a country I can't (actually can, thanks anyway) understand getting paid less than 30g a year and manage to own three cars with no loan. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Shit we must end up saving a bit, even with huge car habits hitting the track every two weeks drifting touge like there is no tomorrow.
  7. Yea I'd say DOTARs see a few more cars coming from Japan than the UAE. But the point was they seem pretty lax. I'd send in your 50bux, the paperwork you have and see how you go.
  8. I imported a car as a personal import last year and DOTARS seemed pretty relaxed about the paperwork. Things like official translations and car parking permits are on the list of paperwork you have to submit but I tried with out them and I got approval. Not sure if this helps.
  9. That tool Bolger drifts on wets. The story goes that they turn to greasy crap in an instant, but I'm guessing they must still have more grip than semis or road tyres. At least slicks wouldn't throw blocks.
  10. Wheels are surprisingly soft and clean up pretty well with a file and some sandpaper.

Mmmm, Nodogoshi. Who gives a shit about taste, at 700 odd yen for a sixer you can't go wrong.
  12. If they are the same as the ones sold here then according to their web site they are a twin tube, full tap, 16 point damper adjustable coilover designed for street. Spring rates f/6, r/5. The 'Winding Master' Mono Flex looks like the monotube version.
  13. I'm after more than 21, and he didn't have the cash to go higher.
  14. Surfing is a huge international sport, spawned huge clothing companies, magazines and an entire culture. Don't kid yourself, no motor sport comes close to the popularity of AFL and rugby (and soccer in all those more educated countries than our simple own). That wasn't my point though. Just because the winner is picked by judges doesn't make drift ghey, that was my point. All sports in their infant days are exactly that, infant. Bumbling about shitting themselves and not making any friends. Drift will grow up and become an important part of motor sport in time.
  15. Surfing does alright, and it's a judged sport. Drift is great fun to do and watch, and although the judging bit does suck a tad it doesn't make drifting ghey.
  16. Yea the rules and regulations are definitely not stifling anyone. And stewards never get in the way, because there aren't any!
  17. There might be a few more tracks here Baron, but most of them are only short courses. Real courses like Fuji, Suzuka, Motegi, Okayama cost a shit tin to get on, and 99% of weekends are booked with GT500 tests, Porsche cup races, etc. so you're taking days off work to get there. And the drivers might have more respect but they are still retarded, thinking that if they are not holding you up down the straights then they are not holding you up at all. It ain't all rosy. Although the amount of drift parks and drift events should be enough to get you over here!!
  18. No Kanji, just katakana. スカイライン 地平線 (Kanji) means horizon, kinda the same I suppose.
  19. trucks, and they go 100, and you find parts of their re-treads all over country roads.
