Thanks Phantom SS. Yeah I was only going on what Mags say, but you see, I also know someone who has a 300kw HSV. Who can only ever get high 13's at the strip. He has tried some sort of slick tyre with his stock HSV, but then only got a low to mid 13 i think. Plus I know a guy here in Mildura with a 360kw CSV Veloce, which only does 13.1 second quarters too. His CSV "Bullet" ute with 295kw does around the mid 13's i think.

OK guys, well she was dynoed today and 243 RWKW!!!!!! Man that is unreal! This was at a fairly safe 16psi and pretty rich up top, so maybe a bit more to go later on down the track.

The company was Ultimate Performance Imports, and the owner is on these forums under vspecv. The fee was $1000, and no I havent seen the car in the flesh yet, but have seen many pics of it and good descriptions. I saved heaps by importing. Yes the auction grading was accurate. How much was your R32 GTR if you dont mind me asking? They are getting really cheap these days if you import, as I found out. I totally trust my broker so I dont need a guarantee. I HIGHLY recomend UPI. RN GTR: yeah I thought the N1 vents were a bonus! And I will have very similar mods to what you said. So im hoping for the same kind of figure. Driftn: yeah i am 100% sure R32 GTRs were made in 1994, which makes mine kinda rare, as there werent many. Are you sure 5 litre V8's will do a low 14? I know that 300kw 5.7 litre HSV's only do around 13.9 so I woulda thought a 5 litre is around the 15's???

Hey Matt. Well it sounds like redline might be the go for gearbox then mate. But as boosted just said that about the diff(s) maybe I shouldnt put it in the diff. Boosted, did you put it in both i assume?

Hi guys, i know this has been done to death before, but I am just after the main fluids to use in a GTR (oils/diff oils/brake fluid etc) When I searched for it, I didnt come up with much. Could you please give me an idea on most of the fluids I should change and what to use? I was thinking just Mobil 1 for engine, and Castrol VMX 80 for gearbox (worked a treat on my GTS-T) Not sure for diffs and brake fluid. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, just wanting to know the main differences between the GTR's 4WD versus the subarus AWD? Ive heard that the subaru is a constant 4wd, making the power loss greater after the initial traction loss. And whats with this symmetrical AWD thing anyway?

mate, Im after some AVS wheels for my R32 GTR which arrives here in around 2 weeks. Is that $950 for the lot including tyres??? And can I ask where you got them from, or know where I can buy them? Those wheels look really nice, and id be very interested if they are still for sale. Andrew

Jay: yeah I still reckon most of the guys around here who have bought them, just want to look good, and to say "I have an STI". Seriously, all the ones ive seen, have been driven by the "fully shik" blokes who got their parents to buy it for them. Not saying all WRX drivers are like this, but the ones Ive seen....... 14 1/4 mile? HAHAHA nuthin! I would have been able to beat one in my old "T". Im hoping for 11's.

inark: the STI's have 300kw? Or is that the pretty heavily modded ones? I thought that I should be able to beat them, but I remember racing an MY00 in my GTS-T and he cained me by a fait bit. Guys, I will be looking for some new wheels for my GTR soon, and really like the AVS 17 inch ones. Does anyone know where I can enquire about these, and what sort of prices? (I will organise my own tyres) I really like the bronzey colored ones, but dunno how they'd go on a silver GTR........

dudes, i am getting an R32 GTR soon, with hopefully around 230 - 250rwkw. Now there are quite a few WRX STi's getting around my town (Mildura) and I wanted to know how I would go against one. Im fairly certain they are all pretty stock. Maybe an exhaust, BOV here and there, but nothing serious. How would a GTR go against them?

Dean: yeah I dont intend on a power fc for a while, maybe the same time as turbos, which will definitely be a while. Did you say that the adjustable fuel reg was part of the tune up you do? The only other car around here that might give me a go is another GTR. A silver R33 GTR, but i dont think its even modded much at all. 400hp: that does look sexy! Kamikaze: those bloody kids on their tricycles! hahahaahaha Man Id love to come down for a hoon around a race track. When I get it, Ill hafta catch up and come down for a visit.

Unreal. I cant wait to launch it. Can you actually get all four wheels spinning with around 250rwkw if you dump it at around 6 or 7 grand? And how are they through corners? I already know that my GTS-T handled like you wouldnt believe around a corner, but too much throttle and it comes close to spinning out. Can you give a GTR a fair bit of throttle around a bend? Also, back to question 1, can anyone give me a bit more info on this? Should I do a compression test to make sure it is healthy?

Yeah I was thinking about a power fc. But I have plans for bigger turbos and was thinking that maybe I will need it tuned again, so more money. Silver: yeah I really reckon the silver R32's looke SOOO nice. The R33's dont look as good in silver for some reason. I was joking about a stock 5 litre V8 I can already beat LS1's in my GTS-T. For the owners of a GTR, whats it like lauching from a stand still at high RPM? Ive never experienced that, and want to know what it is like.

Not only was the run great, but just hanging with fellow skyline enthusiasts really gets the blood going. Clint32: yeah thats what I though (and was hoping) Looks like I wont have to spend much on getting this kind of power then. Shell: yeah I asked for silver, then black, then white. Read my last post guys....... Hey guys, well now that my car is sold, I already have a GTR on its way from Japan. It is a 1994 R32 GTR in silver. It has a few basic mods like 17 inch wheels, exhaust, filters, suspension etc. I was told it has an overhauled engine. Im not too sure what has been overhauled yet. Have to find out later. I have a few questions. 1: besides a general service, what should I do to it before I even drive it? Like fuel filter, clean injectors, compression test???? 2: From experience what will I need for 250rwkw (500hp engine) I have a fair idea on what I need but just want to see what everyone else has to get this sort of power. 3: will I be able to beat a stock 5 litre V8? 4: any tips on what sort of oils to use?
