Hi guys, well im parting with my R33 to make way for an R32 GTR. 1994 R33 GTS-T 5 speed Burgundy Sunroof 71,000km's Rego until september Performance Mods: HKS Super Dragger Exhaust, HKS dump pipe, front pipe and Hi flow cat. HKS Intercooler Blitz Pod Filter with cold air intake, and partition Apexi S-AFC (blue screen) Turbosmart duel stage Boost Controller (with missile switch) Endless Brake Pads Slotted/drilled rotors Speco Boost gauge Stock wheels with around 80% tread Razo TT Zeal Adjustable (height/damper) coil over suspension Excedy heavy duty clutch Aesthetic Mods: GTR front bumper and grill Double bladed adjustable rear wing in silver (ill miss this the most ) Hornet Alarm/immobiliser Momo Commando steering wheel SRacing mats Polished engine bay (very clean) slimline plates Razo pedals Narva Arctic white lights The car has always been serviced at 5,000k's (or under) with Motul oils, and recently Mobil 1. It has 177rwkw with the Apexi S-AFC just tuned. I have had the radiator fully flushed recently, and a new AFM installed. I wash it nearly every weekend inside and out and polish it every month. It is in immaculate condition inside and out, except for a few tiny stone chips under the side skirts which i am fixing this weekend with touch-up paint. Its always been garaged and hardly ever driven in rain. To sum it up, it gets treated better than my girlfriend, so Ill only sell it to someone who is a true skyline enthusiast. Im asking $26,000 ono. hey guys, Pretty soon Im going to be selling my R33 and importing either an R32 GTR or a series 2 GTS-T. My options are a fairly stock GTR with average K's, or a nice series 2 GTS-t with low k's bodykit, and good mods. I can import both for around the same price, but cant make up my mind which one to get. I would really love to get the GTR, but it would be almost 10 years old. BUT, i would love to have a 4wd twin turbo car!!!:burnout:

Hi guys, well while i was fitting my front bumper, we had to turn the steering full lock left and right a few times to get to the mud guards while the car was stationary (dry steering) mainly because the battery was dead and i couldnt drive it forwards a bit. Nothing abnormal happened, but when i went for a spin after, i noticed that the steering wheel is not centred anymore any it turns to the left about 10 degrees. Did i stuff something or bend something? or will it straighten itself out in time?

nah mate, if you take the rocker covers off there will be a little bit of oil on the underside of them (make sure you dont get dirt and shit there) but nothing splurting everywhere. Just make you sure you havent driven the car a few hours before you do it, so all the oil drains off them. And ill send the pics tomorrow around lunch hopefully mate. Andrew

yeah rocker cover, cam cover, same thing They arent hard at all to get off!!! They are connected to a few hoses and thats it, you just take the hoses off, and undo the bolts holding them on. Theres about 10 bolts on each rocker cover. That would look sweet if you paint the middle part in silver. Im thinking of painting mine burgundy, like the car. How do you actually do this, and what paint? Should i send you the pics tomorrow to an email address?

hey mate, we hafta start somewhere, I was like you when i first got my R33, didnt have a clue about it. The cam covers are the long metallic things that are on either side of the black plastic thing on top of the engine that says Nissan twin cam 2500 ir whatever it says. They are the cam covers, and i polished those. Ill have pics tomorrow

Hey Jim, Does it have any type of aftermarket ECU or chip?? With the polishing, i took the cam covers off first, (i can give u detailed instructions on this if ya really want, or else you can just do them while they are on) Then i washed them down with some turps first. I then used corase grain sand paper (100) then medium (200) then went to 400, then 800, then 1200. Hopefully it should come up fairly shiny after tha, then use some autosol a few times on it, and it comes up like a mirror shine. Looks really good. Ill try and post pics tomorrow maybe. Andrew

Hey Jim, yeah dont ya hate those excels that have a go? God its funny sometimes. Just because they have a blitz sticker or whatever they think they are the bees knees. What kinda power you got, because youve got an apexi turbo right, and a few other good mods... Detailing: Well im not too sure about getting scratches out, maybe a professional is the way to go there mate. Yeah the chamois is the best way to get it shiny, then maybe give it a polish afterwards so it keeps the shine for a while. Ok with spraying the engine i just used water, but covered the air filter pod with a plastic bag, and also the starter motor aswell. Dont use a high pressure hose, just one with a jet nozzle to get the dirt out, but dont spray right into electrical joins etc. It will be ok if you get everything wet, maybe use a can of CRC after on all parts that you think will get rusty (i spray all bolts and nuts etc.) And the degreaser i used was this stuff called CT - 10 i think. It is the HEAVY degreaser, you mix it with water. I also used kero on a cloth for all the hard to get to bits. Now polishing the cam covers was fairly hard and took about 3 full days!!!!!! If you really want to know how to do this ill tell ya, but im just really fussy when it comes to my car And yeah ill post some pics really soon, of the car polished, and the engine bay too. Just hafta put the cam covers back on now. Andrew

Hey Jimbo, have you got your car now?? If youre looking at detailing it, try it yourself. I do mine ALL the time, nearly every fortnight. Just wash it good (i use an Enjo rag, so you dont need detergants) then polish it yourself. For the engine bay, i just did mine today. I sprayed it all down then sprayed some degreaser on all the dirty bits. Then got a rag and some kero and some good 'ol elvow grease to get all the dirty bits off. Ive also polished cam covers, cross over pipe and exhaust tip. Ill have some pics of it all in a couple of days if ya wanna see how it turned out.

Hey guys, hope no one gets offended or anything, but i tried to post this on SDU 2 weeks ago and it was deleted for reasons i have no idea! I even stated that no speed limits were broken........ This is about how it went: "A new monaro kill" I was heading into town on a sunday morning on a single lane highway. And i see this black commodore coming up fast behind me, and starts tail gating me bad. He overtakes on a corner (dickhead) and flies past. The lanes come into double lanes and i come up beside him. We then get into town where it is 60. I wind my window down and so did he. There were 2 guys that looked all of 16, and from the "fully sick" religion. He goes "nice rice burner mate, betchya its pretty slow!!" So i said "does your mum know youre driving her car??" Then the passenger and driver go apeshit and start yelling at me and calling me all kinds of obscenities and swerving at me too. 8O 8O We then exit town (where it goes back up to 100) We come to a big round about (still double lanes) and theres nothing but straight flat road ahead. So as we exit the roundabout we both nail it. Straight away im in front. Start of third and im about 1 car length. End of third about 3. Then i slowed quick as cars were up ahead. He then slowed right down and would not come up next to me. :lol: :lol: Then i turned off a bit later. And thats it. I dunno why this was deleted on SDU.....
