  1. Seen many 25s throw rods even at modest power. They snap at the Oil squirter boss and often do little or no damage to the block as the rod still attached to the crank is short. Some totally destroy everything. Most brake when you lift off after a high speed run, The combustion load stops excessive rod stretch at high rpm till you close the throttle.
  2. RockoGTR's 10.4 on Nexan Radials is a GT35 and China manifold. We are going to put it on E85 and MT Drag radials and try again.
  3. I have removed the Sump without removing the engine but its not really any easier than removing the engine. Stock pump is ok with bigger sump but the pump is a weak link. Imports/Garage101 have a billet Oil pump gearset upgrade now.
  4. I can think of at least 4or5 different rotors covering the R32 model line up.
  5. Looks much the same as the Advan one, Very much more complex than the more basic Trust sump inc the trick Baffles. There is a Cylinder head drain option also.
  6. The price is on the site, 500ish to buy i think, The kit is designed for the street and track.
  7. Correct 4WD sump will not fit on the 2WD block.
  8. http://www.imports101.com.au/specials_view.php?id=239 This Kit is working very well and all WA. 93555101 Very well priced and has all Baffles etc.
  9. Block has both 2WD and 4WD Sump bolt pattern. Sump needs minor work around oil pickup.
  10. Kingscorp has done a lot of instructing in them. Not much faster than a Stock VE but still fun on that track.
  11. RB25 VVT gear is adjustable standard. Look behind the gear next time you have one off.
  12. 134/137MPH. Jeffs 480rwhp 10.4 was at 136mph. Most 10sec V8s I do are from 450 to 500rwhp running GTR weight. Really big HP Turbo cars are often slower because you need large Turbos etc giving way to much Lag needing dedicated Gearbox's etc. Your GTR running 10s and also working well on a race track would be a very smart 500rwhp (Board power curve) with 2 people in the car. Huge topend power does not make for a fast car, Fat Power / Torque curves do.
  13. Z32 Nistune is easy, Nistune or PFC will give much better results than a Bender.
  14. Dyno is about right with 500+rwhp in a 10sec car. Sounds like the guys at Autoworx did a good job.
  15. Platinum is not in the same market as PFC, It has huge function and is great to use but most of what it does in not needed on normal road Skylines where PFC is at home. If you need something for a Hardcore car with lots to control and log you wont find better than the latest Haltechs.
  16. I got a new one from Doug at Rockingham Nissan for around a $1000 quite a while ago Dave but I think thay are around $1300 now.
  17. Microtech do come largely pre setup and take very little time to tune.$1000 to tune a Microtech on your average Skyline would workout at around $500 an hour, Steep!
  18. They are very easy to install and as your 3 year you wont have a problem.I can help with tune SOR or Contact Factory RE NOR.
  19. Yes its ok to drive like that,The spline in the Transfer case is sealed so no oil will leak. You can safely put an R33 GTR back to 2wd but its easier to remove the shaft if you have not done it before.
  20. Check all intake/Intercooler pipes for a leak, The problem is almost 100% likely to be this.
  21. My son Jeff at Performance Unlimited also does outstanding work if your SOR.
  22. I think Monga is goinfg to arrange the Dyno Day and Yes AFRs will be chcked.
  23. Just buy a Haltech Platinum 1000.
  24. Dynos all good, The guys are finishing shop walls etc and are taking bookings from next wed.
  25. Ill let you know how we go tonight.
