  8. That reading was240-250HP for the S15 have alook at the Print out. And the Commos were in hp also, I us KW on request only and have never recorded an S15 at 250 kw 270hp was the highest. 200rwkw is about 260rwhp.

Robs right Dynos are a tool only and as his car went on my dyno as a total stocky and then with the new Exhaust so it was a good test for all the new work done and recorded a good gain and proved the worth of his outlay,Dynos job done now of to the Plex! Don't race Dynos. The yellow R34 GTS at the plex a few weeks ago recorded 13.5s with robs power( on my Dyno) on huge street tyres. The Power weight calculator Per4manz turbos have claims 13.3 should have been possible but slicks would have it on the money. George Kontorinis Toyota made 522rwhp (3200lbs) and the calculator claimed 9.16 and the car ran 9.2 and Miss P iggys rail ran 8.88@148mph with 290rwhp and 1300lbs the calc was spot on, lots of other cars to have been run this way so i feel confedent in my readings but still recommend track testing.

  11. The funny thing about HSV cars is 255kw and 300kw Commonwhores both put 250rwhp on my Dyno, some ones doing the wrong thing. Gonna have to win lotto cause life can't go on with out that Merc SLR!

  15. Not a boost cut. Don't use a Haltech on a GTS or you will end up with IGN problems, I have other shops GTSs in with this often inc now. Use an ECU with Sequential ING drivers like the power FC or Wolf Plug ins. People are going to say this is not true but come down and see their customers cars in my shop. The wide body R33 of Nicks has been in for many coils as the E6K cooks them. We have fitted other ECUs under warranty because of this problem and only sell Haltechs on demand now. The E11 may have this sorted but at a cost.

  18. I've had a NA supra with exhaust and pod go 187rwhp. The same as a VS 5.0L Clubsport Commonwhore on my Dyno so valves are a good sub for cubes.
  19. "Dyno proven" is a bad mix of words. Dyno tuned or Dynotested maybe. In the new issue of Perth street car there is a good example, A Falcon "Dyno proven 502rwhp" STD internals? and runs in the 12s on slicks mmmmm sounds suss hay. On Tuesday I had a BIG Valiant 6Cyl non turbo or NOS make 305rwhp with spectators here saying i tricked the Dyno and was bull shitting them. Last nite it ran 11.5@ 114mph full bodyed and 1400kgs and a XB falcon road car on slicks 293rwhp 12.2sec. The 1/4 mile should be used to see if your shop is fudging power figs. "Dynos can lie" "TRACK PROVEN" is the only true way of proven.

  22. Denver should never have said a thing. All work shops have things go wrong but don't have a Denver to spit out stupid statements like no time to check an expensive motor before assembly. Speedworks should be left out of this now and we can all beat up on denver as he has small guy syndrome. Speedworks are a premier WA speed house that just need to lock out a few idiots. Don't let this incedent stop you going to Speedworks as it really is a bad luck story and wont stop people getting quatity work or parts. Denver is the problem not Speedworks.

  24. Denver you should give appols to Speedworks as you started all this. I was talking of two sets of SR cams that didn't work at all well inc grants drag car. Fix with some cams from XSPEED. Plus we have an SR with some very shagged cams in at the moment-low ks 2 The GTR cams needed shims not avalible other than custom made and not considered safe to use so if any one needs some radiclly over priced paper weights we still have 2 sets of SR cams (used) and 1 set of new GTR cams just need a set of push rods to make the cam meet the valves. I see you are in damage control mode over your silly statements. Hopfully we can meet at nite masters this time as you seem hard to find, Jamie said you were the little person in a gray shirt at the last nite masters but after he told me you vanished. We do 85 hour weeks every week.
  25. Hi Ivan. You guys need to stop Denver shooting his mouth off. Read his post and see were your problems are. Ivans a top guy with very good ethics and I wish him well with his new Dyno. He would do better on his own as many shops like mine would use his Dyno for our 4wd work but as it is in Daves hands we must update our own dyno to 4 wheels.
