  2. Ive run 300.5kw at the wheels for 7 years in an R32GTR with stock R33 GTR Turbos on 98 and 18psi. This car is tuned much closer to the bone than i would tune a customers car tho and i now plan to set it up on E85. Ive never found a better power curve than this car at this power level with any aftermarket Turbos so I will not change them. R32 Turbos do fail very quickly tho.
  3. Filters Elite sell Powerplus Race E85 in Cannington (Best Fuel Ive used) and Watsons Transport sells Racefuels E85 in Welshpool. Watsons is about the cheapest.
  4. Nistune have them as a full Plug and play now, Send your Z32 ECU over to Matt and he will send it back ready to go. These things are working veryb well now.
  5. Sadly Targa west lost its appeal to many of the east coast teams a while back due to Scrutineers very much on the Locals side. Ill never have anything to do with the event again.

  7. Ill try get some picks of a Car in at the moment. My sumps have much smaller oil channels than the above pics and are very well proven.
  8. Cost About the same as House 20min out of city center. What led to the outcome,2 X Prodrive Engines etc, Huge Input by Racetorque and many years of trying, Mrs Tander to have Engine management issue, Ray Hislop had problems and the Cherry Monaro and said Turbo car coming together at the end of the 1st lap as the Monaro was passing ending up with the Monaro well off the track so a very good drive in a very good car and a Shed load of Luck. All the fast LMT IP cars need 2 engines on rotation etc etc. Under 2ltr IP is perfect, Overs is doomed.
  9. I now only use NDC of King in all my Race engines as ACLs Quality control seems to have slipped.
  10. Its easy to make an RB dry sump. All the RB Racecars i have here use Drysumps and it 100% solved all the Bearing problems we were having and by using large pumps we seal the engines and gained more power due to negative crank case pressure.
  11. The results are just not there. I agree with SAUs zero bagging policy so wont say more. All the Tuners you have spoken to have given good advice, A Full ECU will deliver much better results.

  13. Its funny to hear the Talk about IPRA hating Late Turbo cars. WA went from the Top LMT state in Australia in 2010 to often not seeing any race this year. We want to run HMSS but it looks like we will run 3D Streetcars. My GTiR is 3J Logbooked but theres just no way we can race in a class that so badly does not want us. I can't even start to explain the pain involved in Turbo IP cars.

Ive done a few Auto Toyotas with Plugin USA made AEM plug and play ECUs, The gains are huge and the auto trans control is well above factoy and very highly tunable, You can really wake up the Toyota Box with these. All the Toyotas I have done have been 2jz Autos but I believe they do a V8 unit. Ive tuned many 1UZs but Emanage is the only unit on the market I will never tune again. Save you coin for a full ECU, The only Problem with AEM is they are Very complex and most people wont tune them. http://www.aemelectronics.com/ Their Piggy back is no better than Emanage so stay clear.
  16. A group of us from WA looked into changing from IPRA with 36mm intake restrictor to HMSS this week only to find out they dumped it last season due to only one car turning up to race. We are trying to get it going again but it dont look good.
  17. Only Problem Wolf now have and its a Big one (Well a small person) is one of their Key Staffers. Just Update any V4s to V400 Firmware and use the latest Software ( Same basics as V500) and all will be fine. All V4s had Closed loop just most tuners dont know how to use it.
  18. Off to Melbourne on Thursday as we have brought a DJR Falcon V8 Supercar, DJR BF14. We can have a Shootout if anyone wants. I prefer my GTRs etc but this is Thread is GTR R34 V V8 SC and for now the V8 would win by a huge margin, If Australian Touring car rules still included the rest of the World and R34s race it would be a different story.
  19. Fastest ever R34 around Wanneroo is around 10 seconds a lap slower than the V8 SC Lap record. GTR is said to have had over 800hp.

  23. 36mm Restrictor is the only restriction on the Turbo but it does limit what size Turbo works. Powerplus E85 for Fuel.
