    N1 Turbos will touch 400rwhp with a good tune etc but real N1s are very laggy.

    I've seen this car also, it looks like a factory fitted plug and about the only way to remove it would be to try drill and tap it and pull it out or remove sump and punch it out,Spose who ever fitted the engine didnt see it till to late(Home job i think)Car is an NA with Turbo motor fitted.

    Many R34 HKS Turbo kits come with thick head gaskets now and this is highly recommended.

    We are real keen to get 3J to be the states top class. www.iprawa.com Great class at a reasonable cost ,Lots of EVOs thru to Commodores racing and on the build with many B class rego'd so they can do Targa events also.

    The Turbo you sold can easy do what you wanted if everything is setup and tuned right.

    Sard ETC is better as they fit back ok,044 and 040 is a lot thicker pump and tends to sit a bit higher.

    You have pushed the AFM values to Boost cut.On your Air flow map have you gone + or -? You may have to Up the Fuel pressure and come back on the AFM map making the factory ECU see a lower voltage then use Ign and fuel maps to fine tune. Or better still go for an aftermarket ECU.
