I'd love to setup a Dyno in Kuching but theres noway of recovering the costs of the dyno but then had the idea of Miri because i think i could get work from Brunei.People in Sarawak would not want to pay over 1000rm for a tune but the costs would have to be that high to cover the cost of the Dyno.
Im sure lots of ppl have stuff to sell and buy.I'd think we would need a permit etc so i'll ask a guy i know thats been involved in the Southern river one whats needed or if we can join one of their Swapmeets.
There is about to be more tuner options for the new Wolf but even the shops that use simple ECUs will be able to learn quickly to use it as its software is very easy.
If they cant ask why and move on.
Godzown was WAs 1st GTR V500.wild RB25-30 GTS is 1st GTS.
V4 proto type was WAs 1st 10 in a GTR, but theres a few cars in the 8s with them in WA,Drag dedicated cars tho.
Feel free to come in and see the cars we have an a daily basis with Wolfs inc many streeters and top WA track cars.
Our new mechanic has a wild 1UZ turbo powered HZ 1tonner on the go with a V500 even doing gear shift dutys.
Every time you see Wolf ECUs bagged replace the name Wolf with me Steve thomas as thats what the baggers really mean.It is politics and everyone knows this so get on with it.Topracing is a very busy shop and im proud te be part of it as its a strong position to be in with the huge campain you guys run. These complaints were based on the early release V4s of many years ago that AEM updated for free.
V500 is a very strong player.
R31 only ever ran that lean on one Dyno and as the car takes everything thrown at it id say the other 2 Dynos were correct.
Anyway V500 is here and it a very upto date ECU.Learning on customers cars? Same for F Con for a while but any good tuner can tune any ECU.
I go to Malaysia every year and never need Bodyguards (In some night clubs we do) Great ppl, great place, I would recommend holidaying there to anyone.
Love to join one of your Skyline trips, Would be Gila.
Still a very limited product for the more basic end of town.I tune a few these days and its easy to find its limit.Haltech Inteceptor is much like the Emanage but i find it a better system but its pushing plug and play money.Closed loop also becomes a problem with big mods and these 2 benders,Sometimes even having to unplug the Oxy sensor and thats really not on for our road cars.
You need to make sure your Wire in kit can use factor sensors or you have to change those also and you dont want to loose idle control and aircon request. Then theres the GTR's output for its 4wd.Most Aussie ECUs will go plug in soon i think.
R32 is a real poorly trimed crude car.110k car with VN build quality, most need a basic resto now also.
34 is a huge step up in build.
R32 makes up for all its nasty bits once you drive it.
So Whats important to you?
For me an R32 is still the Import king so hunt for a well rebuilt car if they are your pick or find a good base and make it what you want as they can be had for very little money now.
Wolfs regaining momentum fast in WA as more ppl workout whats been happening here.I think its goint to be strong world wide within 2 years.
Strongest featured Plug in ECU i'd say now its upto tuners.
All the above ECUs have merit!
