  1. Good thing so no point re'inventing the wheel.
  2. I think its an 87mm bore kit (1mm oversize) but ask Danny.
  3. Dash has lots of real function aswell as a bit of bling.
  4. You sure of the name?As ive never seen anything about them.
  5. I have a real nice Dyno graph for a basic RB30-25 but cant get any pics to load on SAU for some reason.
  6. N1s were new the others were old engines.
  7. 27 enough for you?very powerful control of inputs and outputs also. Download the spec sheet , its got the works.
  8. Ive seen a few N1 blocks crack their bores and 2 standard blocks crack thru the bolt holes.
  9. Like the Fcon tuning houses for Wolf have been limited but this will now change for Wolf as the Sales and results world wide have gone mad and as i said Im working on getting some more ppl upto speed on tuning AEM products and will start a list of them soon.
  10. Bayleys car is safe,Dyno Dynamics checked the calibration yesterday,The Dyno comp tune she uses is 11.8-1 at 1bar and as the boost falls of it gets to 12.5-1 as her injectors are stock RB20 but 11.5 at 0.9bar for street. I get near 600ks also and have for years in our GTR out on the highway.
  11. The Wolf V500 can totally control NOS and the other adavantage is it runs a dedicated tune for NOS -Turn on and of at any revs and load(of before rev limiter to stop damage)and different fuel and ign MAP,something NOS must have, and safe guards like low bottle-fuel presssure over ride. The Wolf changes over on the fly with no delay. Ive been teaching more tuners to use it so there is more options for tuning. www.wolfems.com.au Look at the functions.
  12. You were one of the ppl i was talking about,Well done. I laugh at 600-1000hp 11-12sec cars and there is no shortage of them. I know of a 1250KG car that ran 9.0 with 420rwhp on my Dyno because the whole package is right, now has 650rwhp for only 2/10s quicker pass.
  13. Brad really has it right,Seems ppl that spend 100+k claiming phone number power figures running quite poor 1/4 times get real out of shape when others run fast on very little. So many ppl running huge cams and turbos stuffing all the boost they can down race fueled bulk dollar engines reving till it finds a point it all works (Very small range) trying to use it for a subsitute for knowledge.I respect ppl that can put together a smart package.
  14. Theres been a White R34 GTR for sale in a yard in Kuching for years thats never sold.Nice low k car for someone tho the costs in M'asia are crazy for that sort of car.
  15. We are doing a pre season refresh on the Wholagan GTR so ill try to remember to take the camera to work and get some picks. The sump was the toughest part because of the Diff and the cost got crazy for all the parts. No easy way of keeping Aircon so its a track setup. We feed the oil back in the front of the engine as per the factory oil pump and use a bare nissan pump for the crank seal but cut the top of the pump of and welded the hole over and tapped a large speedflow fitting to the oil feed in the block. Its just as easy to pump the oil back to the oil filter boss but we already had a good cooler filter setup so it was easy to go the way we did.The engine is sealed up and the breathing for the engine is in the boot mounted tank.We used most parts 2nd hand from HRT but still spent close to 10k but oil has stopped being a problem in the years its been fitted, the engine is down for a refresh but looks like its been no more than run in,Little things like adjustable oil pressure and being able to drive the pump to prime the engine at rebuilds and oil changes is nice. Its easy to but ex touring car parts so look around but trust me,it costs much more than you will expect with just the hoses costing more than some ppl think the whole job will cost, but still less than one lost engine due to oil problems.
  16. Autos work fine with plug and plays but with firmer shift and no timing retard or rev limit on WOT shifts but the V500 car do this with a little wiring change and basic ECU setup.
  17. www.wolfems.com.au A few fast cars on their web site also. Dattos not slow,Datsqik aint slow Matt smiths RB30det aint slow,Glen robinsons Ford just ran high 8s with an old V3,But we fit and tune plenty so its really just pointless banter to grind our own axe.
  18. You should have seen the crap i went thru when i claimed high power on stock injectors on RB25s. Still doing it and still not having problems even very long term but you have 10sec time cards and the knockers need Hollywood parts and power to match you so good on you.
  19. We should run this poll Australia wide in 2 years time.
  20. I do many ECUs every day finding all the current ECUs very good and tune around 30 Wa racecars and average around 3+ championships a year.It takes much more to win a seasons racing than run 1 or 2 drag passes between rebuilds. We have many Wolfs on road and track cars with great results. The only problem with Wolfs is opposition shops dont want them out there even setting up faults to make the ECU look bad and then tell the customer the ECUs crap and has to be changed, good thing is most ring AEM and get sent to Topracing and often fixed fast in front of the owner so i can show them what had been done to make the car run poor.If anyone has any model Wolf and is told its no good bring the car to me and ill show you how good it can be. As for the new V500? Anyone bagging them is telling you what they need to put you off as no one else has any idea on the yet so wait see how they go.PPl dont like it but ND4SPDs fastest passes were with the prototype GTR Wolf plug and play. All modern ECUs work very well and im happy to tune any of them inc PFCs tuning many every week. All of WAs weaker tuners have faded away now so if your tuners been around for many years and still has a large work load he must be ok.
  21. Ive built 1 early non vvt RB25 and it was not solid.
  22. We dial the VVT gear on all our engines but you need the specs of the cams then degree wheel and dial gauge.I have the specs at work but they are on the net so do a search.
  23. We sand blast them with a tiny sandblaster designed to clean electrical connectors with very good results if everything elso is ok.
  24. You will need to change water fittings.
