  3. Theres a relay control unit (ECC) in the ECU that can fail.See if you can grab a loaner ECU and try again.

  5. ive seen many PFCs with highish knock counts that when Datalogged show low counts but with a single high count and as your hand controller stores the max count you wont really know where the problem is so make sure your tuner has datalogit. An example would be a log that counts many times a second with a count of say 8-120-8-8-8 often with the high number only coming up the one time per run but your hand controller showing this high number making you think it realy has a constant knock,This could be one missed load site with to much timing etc or as often happens some mechanical noise. Datalogit will pin point it allowing you to find a reason for it. If the light keeps flashing then its not a one of knock.
  6. V500 Skyline plug and plays are only a few weeks old with great results. Had one minor problem that AEM fixed very quick for us. The new datalogger realy helps to get a perfect tune showing up problems never seen before like MAP pulsing issues on some intakes with very unexpected power and torque curve gains by finding smoother MAP sensor ports.MAP signal can bounce up and down thru 3 load bands on some intakes if you pick up the wrong port.
  7. Home port jobs should be no more than a very simple tidy up as you can go backwards so easy.Most heavy handed amature port jobs flow less than stock.

  11. I hear a lot about ppl using Garret 2871RS turbos grafted to the Skyline exhaust housing.Anyone got one and whats the result?
  12. This car has -5s and the tune has more left in it because the boost controller was playing up. Now has better controller and large injectors on the way so we can crank more boost into it. For turbos not much over 1k each their hard to beat.358rwkw
  13. Need to workout the comp ratio to pick the correct gasket.Dont forget that moving the head means dialing in the cams as it will advance or retard the cams.

  15. they wont change the base Nissan tune out of the box,but need to be setup to suit the car fitted to before any tunings done.Fit it then take to a good tuner dont try yourself.

  18. What is uas? Are they the ppl that have spacers for using 33-34 rotors and stock 32 GTR calipers? if so i need a set.

SAFC is a signal bender only with all fuel tuning changes have an affect on timing with no means to sort this problem.If you lean out an SAFC it tells the ECU its under less load so it moves the ECU into a lower load zone delivering less fuel but also more timing often leading to detonation. SAFCs place in the food chain is basic modded cars only.

  22. Ive had no luck with MAP and wide band with Emanage. We have been using Haltech intercepter on R34 GTT Autos with better results. They have good boost controllers etc also but the cost is higher but the drivability has been much better.
  23. Used NDC for years without trouble even on our race engines but now use ACL race cause i van get them fast an they have been faultless also. Both great, take your pick.
