  1. All the Turbo cars run a 36mm Intake Restrictors 50mm infront of the Turbos so running down 6.0ltr V8s without restriction is a good effort.
  2. Race 3 is better.
  3. Sorry not quite
  4. Last time I contacted Haltech they said the setup for MAF is in the software but not functional yet, This may have changed so ring them first. Bloody good ECU anyway.
  5. GTR Bucket wont work, Way to short. Im setting one up now and looks like I will be using GTR retainers and shims.
  6. www.nistune.com This is all you will ever need. Find a cheap Z32 ECU and send to these guys and get them to set it up for an R33. Any reasonable tuner in Australia can then tune it for you. Very cheap and effective ECU upgrade.
  7. Sweeting and Denny were the guns but closed after about 75 years, Heinz engineering is good but now he is a one man show is very slow. Ranch Automotives is about the best NOR. I still use Heinz for the Racecars but the delays are very tough. I wish Justin was still with him. He has a Sportsedan RB30DET for me there now. Some of the real big names have dealt me some really embarrassingly bad quality work and will not repair their cock ups so be very careful when dealing on the Southside of Town. Kingscorps S14A racecar was sleeved by these un'named cowboys, They cracked his Bore and said nothing, drilled a hole in the crack and screwed a Grub screw into the bottom of it then pressed the sleeve into the bore, Result was the sleeve moved and Ashlys Racing was over, This is one of many nightmares from them. Id love to Name them but Forum rules rightfully do not allow this so get a written Garranty on Workmanship. I know Sam well but have not used him tho he is a good Guy.
  8. Nistune Z32 300ZX Auto ECU modded to run an R33 by Nistune is the best option. Works well, Ive done it before.
  9. The standard of Machinists in Perth has fallen badly now so good luck. I won't risk recommending any of them anymore.
  10. S14 200SX Diff will fix your highway cruise revs. PAR make custom 5th gear. Approx $800 just for the parts.
  11. Just find out what output the solenoid is on and if its not then its easy to wire. One Aux output from the Haltech and a 12v feed is all you need. As a starting point switch it on at around 1500rpm and off at around 5500rpm then play with it on a Dyno till you get the best power curve.
  12. 2 Separate proper Racecar features. Rick McDowell does a lot for WA Motorsport.
  13. July Fast Fours mag has a feature on IPRAWA and Kingscorps S14A Improved production racecar.
  14. EFI Hardware can do them 0398735400.
  15. I have seen much the same at almost every cruise ive been on, We cant blame the media, We must blame the countless Dickheads that make it tough on all of use.
  16. No harder to Tune than an Autronic or Haltech platinum. Problem is WA has so many Novice tuners that get supported by their mates on the net.
  17. Caltex are releasing E85 nationally, Bad news is it will vary between E70 and E85 seasonally just like USA.
  18. Roadbend tests were wrong, Equipment was well out of service. Think Garage101 is sorted for it now. IM240 test is still suspended due to, Sorry don't want to get in trouble.
  19. Ive had a very good run with them on a great number of cars. Not sure about the Cats.
  20. A few hundred Dollars for a Nistune is hard to beat. Nistune tuning cells can be reconfigured giving the option of lots of cells for areas that need it so the PFC does not beat it in that area either.
  21. Power is no limit for the Nistune, I have done 600+rwhp GTRs that are much more drivable than with any other ECU ive seen. If your Tuner is selling you an ECU because the Nistune is at its limit he is is dodgy. PFC is not anywhere near as smart as a Nistune, Nistune even use functional knock control were a PFC only warn you. I tune for a few Shops and Nistune is the most common ECU in Nissans now and its quite often replacing other Aftermarket ECUs inc PFC. Perth car scene is now targeted by the cops and Emission tests are the norm with the Nistune making this test very simple even in some hardcore cars.
  22. This is very good advice.
  23. I find the Vipec as easy to tune as Autronic TPS V MAP with GTR Throttlebodys so anyone with Autronic experience will get in the groove with the Vipec fast. Every ECU that does not use AFMs on Multi throttebody engines is a bit of a compromise, experienced tuners only.
  24. Boost solenoid bleeds pressure so its possible it will also drop the boost pressure signal to the fuel reg lowering fuel pressure.
  25. Autoworx how has extra Tuner options so if your not keen on Glen let them know.
