  1. USA had early body'd 280Zs we didnt.

Autos 34s can not use aftermarket stand alone ECUs so its E-manage(Fuel and ignition control) Safc(Fuel only but if you need to take much fuel you will have detonation problems with 34s as it also adds timing because its signal bender for the AFM and your telling the ECU you have less load )The best ive used sofar is Haltechs Interceptor with great fuel and ignition control and a boost control output but they cost more than a PFC but theres not much option with R34 Autos.Most shops in town inc us sell and tune any of these units.

Fuel curve looks like its been mapped, Stock Nissan maps are not like that so this may explain your good power figures.Rip the kick panal of and have a look.Fuel pump fault should have been lean at the higher power area of your curve but it does look like a tuner has been chasing 12-1 but factory they keep going down as far as 10s.
  5. Yeh we go PSIs dyno,(Brett got him self a real good job so he sold up) Dyno Dynamics are about to update it to accredited Shootout etc.
  6. Be good to see how many failed on early 26 or 20-25-30 short oil pump drive cranks,I've never had one fail on long drive cranks.
  7. Base tune was much better than average for a Skyline so your gains are not great.
  8. Its Savill place but jupiter roads sign is so close to savill it looks like its our street sign.
  9. AEM are about to do a trade in deal on V4s for V500s with all the V4s updated to V400 before sale and the price will be very good. I'll post Details when i get them or keep a look out on the web page www.wolfems.com.au
  10. In a few weeks there will be a lot of very good cheap full plug and play ECUs hit the market,All 2nd hand but garranted units.Will post details soon.

This looks like a bearing failure (bearing sized to crank) not a rod,no rod can stand that causing a bolt to break snaping the end of the rod.Note the rod bent a long way before cracking.About 1/2 the rods for sale look like the one in the pic so its hard to say what brand it is. PAUTER is the best ive used.

  14. Shannons do deals for club members but i dont know if SAU is one but im sure it wont bring the quote back far enough from 4k.
  15. Im with Shannons and got a great deal ,House and 5 cars, 2 comp and 3 3rd party for about 2k a year with one being a GTR with free wreck retention so there must be a huge age penalty.
  16. Your way off in your thinking about cam timing.All cams should be dialed in using degree wheel and dial gauge as no 2 engines are the same,If an engine builder cant dial in cams their not an engine builder as its one of the most important aspecs of a good engine.

  18. PFC and Wolf are good plugin units and I think Haltech are doing the same now,If your happy with your Tuner-mechanic go with what he prefers to use.
  19. No comp surge at all.Wait till the coils are fitted so we can put a real tune in it then post the graph.Ozzie21- Punk and Phil all have the same Turbo,none have any surge.

  21. To true Skylines are drivers cars that have strong track history and belong there tho they do well for themself at the strip. Track is the true display of driver and cars and as the interest showen in track days in the members area this club seems to agree.
  22. 2560R-10 is 400hp each.-5 is 320 i think but check that.
  23. Garrett 2560 boltons with 3 power ratings on offer from 640 upto 800hp and their cheap.
  24. A few SAU guys were at the Wanners meet so maybe the clubs more into black track?Also were at Dutton and this weekends Classic challenge.
