  1. All this Dyno knocking is crap! We use dynos to develop the best power band possible so if you dont have your own Drag strip in the back yard to test every change you make then use a Dyno. Many of the fastest cars dont have wild power figures but very good (sorry to reuse this term but its the easyest) "average" power all across the rev range,600rwkw to run 12s is not smart.
  2. Id be interested in the 2535 if you buy the 2835.Let me know next time your at the shop.
  3. Im very happy with my Blitz duel sbc
  4. Im still using stock dumps and unported manifolds,Think i will change them and do back to back Dyno runs to see what gains there are.
  5. Today i tuned NEOs old GTS with a 2835pro, after fixing a few nastys it made an easy 360rwhp with a nice power curve. These Turbos are avalible still so thats a good option.Have the graphs if you want you can drop in and get one to see if its what you need.
  6. Nissan still has no idea when RB26 cranks will be avalible again but a new crank is the way to go if the price stays the same.
  7. I run 338rwhp, Shutoboy was 355rwhp in R32s.The highest ive had on the dyno in full time tune not just cranked for a run is 397with R34 Turbos.Jades Blue R33 was 384rwhp running 11.72 in 2003 with Exhaust, 18psi boost and ECU. Steve from Myree Dyno had close to 400rwhp and did speed events for a few years. Many others have lost their turbos at 1 bar.Seems to be luck more than anything but i have never seen any failed R34 turbos.
  8. I never have trouble with N1 pumps even in peak hour traffic mid summer with the air on.I have fitted a lot without even one giving trouble and WA has some bloody hot days.Your car wont overheat Brad.
  9. We sell these as fast as we can get them so maybe look into fixing what you have.
  10. If we all re read the topic it says Stock Turbo-Maybe? not Stock turbo!
  11. We cant get boost under 20psi in the upper rev range as the gate is to small, We told Phill it maybe.it made 475rwhp gaining fast still when i backed off at just over 7000rpm as lowish 400 is what we want for now. Boost stayed at 1 bar till about 5500rpm then would rise to 20@7000 .
  12. My normal setting is U98 fuel and the second Map is NOS and VP109.
  13. Im lucky because i can flick a switch and have a totally different Map for max performance or economy,Changes on the fly instantly.
  14. They can drive a bit poorly if to lean,of boost is normally around 13.8 with closed loop pulling back to 14.7. Under mild load the ECU will drop out of closed loop short term so the engine responds well. Most ECUs are good at this now.
  15. Theres still some around so keep shopping. Were doing an RB30DET with one at the moment, thats gotta have a strong bottom and mid power curve.
  16. We can set what load and rev the closed loop drops out, how quick it goes into closed loop and set the afr we want normally set at 14.7 and we can set the clip value so the afr's stay tight at that point.Other factors in the setup but like temp etc but you get the idea. The days of not caring about fuel use is over with costs so high and we expect minimal compromise even at high power now.
  17. 2003 was when i first got a GTR plugin prototype Wolf ,so its been a while since the site was updated,Ran 10s.
  18. The reason our GTR is good on fuel is the closed loop setup which the the Wolf has great tunability of .Its a complex thing to setup but a good tuner will understand how and its well worth the effort
  19. We charge around 150 for the job
  20. Wolf has a GTR plugin and have for a few years.Theres lots of plugins from Wolf but the web page is a long way out of date. Many jap cars are covered and not BMW and Porsche etc They are now a lot better than some ppl want them to be and older V4s are upgradable. I have done 1000cc injectors without drama and they run without resistors on low impedance injectors.Very strong contenders in the market with some very advanced features in the pipe line. Competition in the market is a good thing making everyone work hard to stay current.
  21. If a car comes in under the latest import rules it should be quite safe. Some of the crap that came in before was very dodgy.
  22. Really should be in the hands os someone that knows RBs
  23. I cant imagine what your new RB30DET is going to be like with the 2535,tow a road train.
