I have the whole kit coming in about 4 weeks for this. It can run down V8 Supercars with a novice driver and basic RB25 so 3.4 should be fun.

Yes but use a Z32 ECU as the base. Theres no better option for road use. Nistune's website have some info on the Z32 to R33 swap.
Good thing about Nistune is all good Tuners support them.
A few of WA Tuning shops (All States i guess) will not sell or promote Nistune as there is nothing to be made in the sale as margins are tiny and tune times are often short. Nistune is bargin.
Pick your Tuner 1st. Haltech Platinum is as good as it gets for full aftermarket but the MAF Option is not yet functional.
Any tuner that cant see the benefits of Nistune on a road car should be avoided.
Yesterday we gave up on a wild GTR with PFC that gave nothing but trouble to 1/2 of WAs tuners and fitted a Nistune, Problem solved.
Know-one said singles are viable but if you already have GTss Turbos why would you change unless you were chasing more Power?
If you have excessive lag with GTss Turbos theres something wrong that fitting a single wont fix unless the Turbos are in trouble.
Good job, I guessed your weight at 2800lb?s and put your run in the Power calculator and it came up at 560hp so the numbers sound right.

Reasonable guide but remember its engine power. Im surprised just how close this has been.
The 30 series do match the GTss for response but loose out above 7000rpm. 35s are the tool for the 500 to 600ish rwhp bracket and what I use on customer Race RBs. Very simple, reliable and effective.
Im fitting a pair of The Turbos I developed for IPRA 2.0L Turbo cars to the RB34 im building for the 180SX Race car we look after because of their response and power output.
If you have an aftermarket ECU like ,Haltech, Vipec,Wolf etc Plugins you can remove the Injector resistor pack and make very good power.
Not Nistune or PFC tho, they must keep the resistor.
