  1. The cars back on the dyno tomorrow morning with overboost problems so its not over yet. Think i need the appologie.

  3. We have used lots with outstanding results finding them as good as and in many cases better than big name brands.
  4. We are doing this conversion but modifying the inlet cam to run the VVT. May be crap but costing nothing to find out so will let you know. This is on GTSt VSPECs GTS that has 450rwhp on the Stock cams so should be an interesting test.
  5. DALCOS did Sharons GTR and are doing ND4SPD and are as good as it gets just check out the job on pauls GTS.

Will be the same disaster as the Alloy Z32 ones were with destroyed cranks and bearings and as ND4SPD had no problems at just over 10000rpm with a stock nissan one id stay safe and use a factory job or tested billet steel ones. Alloy dampers on the market now for other engines are not alloy copies of factory ones but much larger and no lighter than the stockers. I've had custom balancers break cranks so violenty that even core plugs have come out of the block from flex. Race balancers are for the topend of the performance market and wont give any gains worth the time or effort in mild engines so the money would make bigger gains in other areas.

  9. SAUWA should cream the dyno comp this year so the club will look real strong. Theres talk of a dyno day before hand as a fund raiser also so if anyones interested let us know.
  10. WE have the spacer plates. The 6 butterflys rob 60kw of air flow this is why the japs remove them also allows easy tuning with MAP sensors. 6X 10mm shafts in a small port is a bad thing for airflow and all the fairy tales about throttle area is just that. One large body has much better flow than 6 small ones near a valve then theres the turbulance issue.
  11. Magic1s GTS has 435rwhp on stock injectors and uprated pump,this is the most we have seen sofar on stockers and we have never had any problems at high fuel pressures. We will fit a bigger pump and see how we go. This power is in shootout mode.
  12. Stock ECU is ok but strong gains will be had with the PFC.Gav has a PFC for sale.

  14. only crank change was the oil pump drive was made larger after about 1992.
  15. GTR BOV are recirculation valves and must be plumbed back as all air is metered and the valve is open at idle and light load.
  16. Factory GTR BOVs are the best so never change them.
  17. Wolf has Air temp compensation also.
  18. GTR pfcs and wolfs work the ALSD on vspec GTRS but never had a GTS ALSD work with them.We tryed a GTR ECU in Pauls but the diff was still dead.
  19. Dont buy an ECU not serviced in your area.You need local support.

Paul ( GTStVspec) has 450rwhp in his GTS running a GT30 with stock head and cams but GTR rods and Arias pistons and Greddy intake with the fuel pump at its limit so we dont know if there is much left.The power curve is the best ive seen. Magic1 has the same set up but stock intake but 256-264 cams,His pump died at 435 but has 365hp by 4500rpm.Both cars rev past 8000 with out the power falling of and run modest boost.Still think 35 is needed for a tru 600 but the average power wont match the 30.
  21. GT30 for 600 is a little small a 35 would be better.
