  1. One of the best knowen Blowups in WA was an RB26 with a cost no option build running a Jap remap and tuned but a well knowen jap tuner and the car was making over 100rwhp less than ND4SPD and GTAAH so whats the point in blaming Wolf ECUs? When PPL want to push for high power from stock parts things will fail.

  3. We found our car in a farm shed and its been there for a very long time so we were very lucky to get a rust free car.
  4. SST have sold around 800 Wolfs in WA so they cant be all bad and that figure is why our opposition bag it so hard , They want a bigger slice of the pie.90% of RB25s with wolfs have never failed its only the guys that want to push the limits.
  5. Best thing is to go to your prefered tuner and use their system!
  6. Any plugin ECU is the smart way to go.
  7. I've seen 330rwkw with a setup very close to yours but we push it hard to get there,300 was easy tho.
  8. WE see as many blowen 25s with PFC and factory ECUs. Use what ever you want im not bothered but dont expect to beat our guys as Ant and Fabs are moveing the bench mark much higher. Even GTAAH picked up 70rwhp by replacing his big name ECU with a wolf and The CRED R33 GTS ran well at 400rwhp on a stock RB25 at the drift last weekend. The bigggest drawback with Wolf we cant get enough units to keep up with demand. You say the old wolf was outdated but forget the old Motecs were screw driver tunable so dont judge the latest units by old models but then again there is some very tough cars out there with V3s.
  9. It will only have motec if its already fitted.
  10. Have a look at the fastest GTRs in WA at the moment and see what they are running. Jades basic R33 runs 11.2 easy with a Wolf plain bearing turbo and pistons thats it. Thats the same time as the huge dollar Speedworks R34 so ask your self.
  11. Wolf boost control is even mappable to things like TPS etc. Dont worry about Seans little input as he loves me.
  12. Ive heard and seen all this before from these guys about 6 times, they even built an office on the last site. They may pullit of one day tho.
  13. Paul will do anything to keep this car of the road.
  14. Good to see im not the only person into 240Ks,I,m building the same project but going for an RB26.Good luck.
  15. It needs a complete new roof.
  16. The GTR ECU plugs in to a GTS but GTS have ony one Air flow meter but thats easy fixed.
  17. Street tyres are crap on a prepped surface so dont feel to bad,Drag tyres are very different compounds
  18. I think we do more RB engines than anyone in australia and believe your thinking is spoton. I can take a few photos of the cracking if you want.
  19. Jezzrrrs GTRs are tuned for safe daily driving by us and could be pushed harder. My wifes near stock GTR runs 18psi on stock33 turbs and gets murdered with no turbo troubles and has run 12.05 at 119.35mph but with a lot of wheelspin 1.98 60ft with a cat back exhaust and Wolf plugin but with no changes from how its driven on the street. We have another GTR with a small plain bearing ITS turbo and wolf running 11.2 with 440rwhp so GTR street cars can run good numbers with very little. SK, Why do you need to have a go at everyone? Its bad form.
  20. We have seen 87mm bore RB26s with cracks .we use std or .5mm over bore in very high powered RBs.We use new blocks when the budget allows at a cost of around 2k but remember that much of the machining is already done so some cost is recovered there. 500rwhp is the max we run 87-88mm at.The block flexes and cracks exturnaly on large bore motors and loose power due to bore flex.
  21. Mr mayhem on these forums is getting me the faker bits for the same deal so pm him for your parts. His name is Steve may.
  22. RB25 and 26 have very close to the same flow on a flow bench but a 25 head is slightly bigger in some areas. Both heads work very well.
  23. Your setup is the same as mine and it works well on our car and many of our customers cars also so i think you have some other problem.
  24. It is setup wrong if it wont go back to 4wd when the car stops rolling.
  25. My Nizmo clutch is pull style and i love it. 12.05 in a stock R32 GTR with an exhaust change but stock dumps.I launch at 8000rpm with a clutch dump and sofar so good.
