blitz pod ay.. hmmm did it make the cool spooling noise that Al's car makes ? or does it make the anoying sucking noise most pod filters make ??

when i had ~200kw i tested with the top of the airbox off.. i got 5kw differance with it off. dave what did you end up using in the end ?? im thinking of changing to a pod filter so my turbo sounds cool like als

i kinda had the same thing.. you'd change gears and the boost would go up but nothing seemed to happen for a second or so. it happened after i crushed my bov like 2cm instead of 2mm bought a new bov and she was bak to normal after that. ....new bov as in a second hand one off sau

i use the airbox.. i was also worried bout the size of the snorkel.. ive cut the front side out of the top of the airbox now.. so theres a big hole in it.. so the air can go in via the snorkel.. or via the hole at the front. The area the airbox is in is pretty well shielded by the stock pipes (if u use a blitz style intercooler) so it keeps alot of the hot air out. when i stick my hand in the airbox the air is kinda cool, so i dont think its letting to much hot air in.. oh ya she also gained 4kw on the dyno

ive got one of these aswell.. hmm i dunno if it was setup though.. if my actuator is at like 18psi but the ebc is at 14psi.. what would happen ?

i dont think you can do anything realy except pay. if he's gone though his insurance he would of had the assesor check out his car/quote, and the assesor would of tried to do it as cheap as possible incase they have to pay for it.. someone crashed into me a few months ago.. and thats how my insurance r trying to do it atm
