  3. after a yr with just cars when i changed from rating 6 - 5 i was paying $2200.. i doubt yours is gonna drop $1k though you should speak to shannons though, there excess is about $1000 cheaper than just cars, and they let you pay monthly Like Al said, speak to _8OO5TED_ on SAU and he'll fix you up
  4. not sure why some of you are having a cry i was 21 rating 6/just cars (my previous insurance on my P's was under my moms insurance so i never got any rating points for those 3 years) and i was paying $3200 to just cars now 2 years on.. im paying like $1900 to shannons

  13. tis wierd i sprayed under there the first time and it fixed her up for a day or 2
  14. never mind ppls... after an hour of searching for something totaly irrelevant i came up with what i was after http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=118831&hl= i did what it said though and lubed up the clutch fork with some grease on a stick to get it in there real good... didnt do squat however
  15. also i dont no if this is relevant but since i had my new clutch installed (clutch, pressure plate, and bearing) its had this rattling noise which stops when the clutch is pressed. A few people have told me its the clutch fork rattling due to the clutch not being installed 1000% correctly or something ?
  16. we shall c if you look around on seek etc 4 years experience isnt much and theres alot of other jobs requiring those same skills paying less than 70-80k..
  17. hey ppls in the last few weeks ive noticed when i take my foot off/put my foot on the clutch it makes a loud squeeking noise.. At first i sprayed some WD40 stuff on the spring thingy that connects to the clutch pedal and all the parts that go along with it inside the car.. That fixed the problem completely for a day or 2. Then it came back so i decided to carefull spray grease on the diff areas to see exactly what was making the squeeking noise... ive ended up spraying everything again in heaps of WD40 stuff and its stll making the noise Im pretty sure its coming from outside the car now. i did a search for 'squeek' and 'squeak' but didnt come up with any results for the clutch, so any help would be great pls cause im not in the mood to pay a workshop to fix the problem just yet as i had a new clutch put in recently about 2 months ago, and i've only done like 1500km or so if that makes any differance... But like i said the noise only started happening the last couple of weeks. I barely evan drive my car these days but seem to be getting more issues then when i used to drive it heaps
  18. ive always thought if a company is hiring someone to do a range of tasks instead of a few ppl that specialize in various things there usualy kinda cheap... im betting around the $50k mark
  19. The permit system is good in theory... its gay what happened to you though and obviously isnt correct. I live off high st in armadale and sometimes when the art galleries have big events my street is packed with cars.. sometimes we have to park like 800metres down the street just to get a park on a diff issue, wait till the fines goto the perin court then organise a payment plan, u can pay like $20 a month If they want there money they can wait for it... i got $828 in fines im paying off over the next 20 yrs
