  1. hi mate have checked the kaaz US website as I'm in the market for a 1.5 way lsd and it has the part no. you've got in the 2way column for GT-t and S15. can you check and re-confirm please. Reggie.
  2. lucky i changed my front bar our cars would've been almost identical
  3. my move north started with a full tank of Ultimate at eight mile plains BP. should also note that the car was 90% loaded up with clothes/suitcases, computers and boxes with misc. household/work stuff. the rear Teins were raised a little to accommodate the load. so my fill-ups eight mile plains bp to rockhampton mobil (if i had drove a lil further up the road i would've found the bp, doh!) travelled - 664.6 K's low fuel light K's = 68.3 K's after the light came on at 596 K's i then refuelled with mobil premium ULP with 58.6L I have no doubt I would've made 700 K's from this tank but unfortunately the 700 Km mark would've left me stranded between towns. I normally push 100 Km's with the fuel light on. Rocky Mobil to Ayr BP travelled 649.2 K's low fuel light K's = 106.7 K's refilled with 61L of Ultimate. From Ayr, I got to Townsville dumped all the stuff i didn't need then headed on to Cairns for x-mas and new years. So.... Ayr BP -> Townsville -> Cairns -> refilled at Tully Shell with V-Power on return journey to Townsville. Tully BP had run out of Ultimate. travelled - 627.4 K's low fuel light K's - 59.1 K's low fuel light came on at 568 K's refilled with 58L I'm happy with these numbers.
  4. i'll have to put up my figures for my drive up to townsville then cairns from bris before x-mas
  5. Nice work 'bongsta on your 4dr! always wanted to see what cr kai's look like on a 4dr. all you need now is clear front indicators and I'll fully love it
  6. HERE HERE knew i should've trader my 'line in on a new VE SV6 ute.
  7. it's threads like these that make me no longer visit the NA section of this site as much anymore. and i own a NA.
  8. I haven't had any probs with Castrol Edge 5w-30 for the 3.5yrs I've had my car. it's the only decent 5w-30 readily available off the shelf that i've found and it's the recommended weight in my manual. my car is NA though.
  9. that poor V35 not only does it have aids but a disability control switch stuck in the on position.
  10. I've always used 98RON predominantly BP but with BP servo's diminishing I'm now having to switch over the Mobil's Synergy 8000 or Freedom's E10 Hi Octane 98 as both servo's are on my commute to work. Just got 645K's out of my first tank of 8000. Was getting roughly 620-630 with Ultimate. Am interested to see how Freedom's fuel goes.
  11. looks like it could be a GT-V though so at least the basic upgrade parts are easy to come by
  12. still wish there was an A/M chip alternative for the 34 NA's
  13. does your cousin know much about skylines at all? he/she may be having a lend of you, fairly largely
  14. you've almost answered your own question
  15. no point in sussing out which model is quicker than the next and then finding out you can't even afford it. by the sounds of it you can't even afford one now.
  16. my HPC coby's that i got from the first GB on this site have been ok at best for the 10-11 months they've been on the car. I've just got the car back from having a shocking exhaust leak. The header plate on my extractors warped pretty bad and after grinding it down so it's flat all the way along is now only 8mm thick. I'm not sure if i'm gonna stick with them for much longer as it's 50/50 if they warp again. Also I'll be moving to Townsville for work next year so a hotter climate probably won't help things. Mine also had the oversized welds problem on first install also.
  17. Friday is free but unfortunately don't have the spare coin otherwise i'd be there.
  18. A&J I'm gonna sound like the judges on SYTYCD here critiqueing (?) dancers who think they're great when they really aren't. I've noticed that your a P plater, thats fine but what do you currently own or what have you owned/driven previously? Also, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that this is the first time you've had anything to do with Skylines, isn't it? It's either that or you haven't searched this site/researched jap imports or skylines in general. Lastly, do you have a manual or auto licence. I ask these questions because the main outcome your looking to get from your original post has been asked a fair few times before as myself and heaps of others have contributed to those threads. Honestly a simple search e.g. Kranker's reply above, would've found you all the info your looking for. Your future car of an AWD 25GT-X 4door doesn't exist. A 25GT-X 4door does but not in AWD. If you looking for an AWD 4door R34 then you should be looking for a 25GT-4. You'll see in below my avatar that I have a GT-V sedan and i'm not the only one on this site who has a GT-V, sedan or coupe. I'm sure i speak for most of the GT-V owners out there(not all, most) in that having the 'V' makes life so much easier when it comes to upgrading brakes, suspension etc due to it being built a turbo-spec car but without the turbo engine. If you do a search for GT-V I've posted links before to sites that have the tabled info on the R34 models. Sort of what Nathan mentions above. Since an R34 is what your looking to get. The reason I ask what transmission your licence states is because if you have a manual licence and a looking for a manual skyline in a specific model, you'll find that some of the R34 range only came out in a auto only. If you only have a slush-box licence, then your laughing. I/We all realise your new but when other SAu members say to 'search' it's not to be mean or blunt. It's because the same question has come up many times over the years and the answers haven't changed.
  19. i have mine also. don't think i'll be using it again. in qld depending on where you are.
  20. wish there was R35's there when I paid a visit to the Ring almost a year ago.
  21. not sure whether i can post this link here or not. If not I'm sure I'll get told sooner or later http://www.sauqld.com/ipb/index.php?showtopic=2013 I'm gonna make a call and get a qoute this week.
  22. the nissan dealership managed to get more money out of you then, sorry to say. the altia front bar does fit up to a S1 R34 no probs. I did it with my sedan earlier this year. thats also a very good price your selling yours for.
  23. GT-V? or a normal GT with GT-t rims put on it? either way, very nice 4door!
