  1. yeah i know chris, mine comes up as ER34 on FAST also. I just didn't want to confuse him with my car being NA but with turbo spec suspension fitted from factory.
  2. I'm sure most people would recommend KYB's/Koni's over Monroe's or Pedders products. When I was searching last month for new suspension not many companies had replacement shocks for NA HR34's. From memory both KYB and Koni didn't have have anything for HR34's and I'm not sure if there will be any coilover options out there either with HSD, ISC catering for ER34 but nothing listed for HR34's. My advice, search through the suspension company websites product lists, send e-mails or make phone calls to them. Another option is to search the For Sale section on SAu and see if something come up.
  3. thats strange. I haven't heard or seen the G-Unit tour advertised up here in Qld.
  4. the 'tb' stands for turbo. all depends on who writes the ads, forgetting that the 2nd 't' in GT-t stands for turbo
  5. they're kidding aren't they! to me, looks like they got they Koreans to design it as it looks cheap and un-inspiring
  6. don't really mean to nit-pick but there are 2 silvers in the R34 range. interested parties might want to confirm which silver you have.
  7. i agree with John above..... ok, so your buying from a dealer, no wonder the price is more than normal. i still think that it would have to be an auction grade 4.5 to 5 car to be asking $22K with those Km's, exhaust and rims.
  8. well whats a reasonable amount your willing to pay for it then?
  9. just watched the Ch 9 coverage and I must admit it was pretty bloody good. My sister even rang me up asking if I was watching it. I really wanted to watch and hear the GT Autosound R34 but it's weekend was short lived. Maybe next time, hopefully.
  10. also interested
  11. Is this car a private sale or from a yard? For the car you've mentioned I'd be looking between $16K - $19K but only becuase of the Km's. It would have to be very perfect i.e. Auction Grade 4.5 and above, to command more than $19K but thats just me.
  12. also do you know the minimum no. of cars needed to make this look right? just thought i'd ask, you may have to re-schedule incase not enough turn up.
  13. I may stand to be corrected on the 'non-xenon' lights thing (once it lands here) but of all the 34 light assemblies I've seen with that parker design have been the normal old halogen setup. a xenon headlight assembly is different as in each bulb i.e. high, driving, parker is en-cased/enclosed from each other, if that makes any sense to you. In the end I can tell just by looking at them
  14. who told you that cuz? any cop could nit pick you for almost anything depending on the day they are having. I'm sure I told you that if you are going the POD route, to enclose it with CAI.
  15. I concur with n15mo on the parking guide/antenna thing. I have only seen that once before on a 34. I don't have it on mine tho. I don't have a clue to those other attachments on your fenders. You don't have xenons either so thats one less thing to have changed come compliance time.
  16. The shine I get after washing my car is close but no cigar to the shine you get from your car Issy. I also have a silver 34 sedan.
  17. this is good news for me. will be looking to do my suspension soon. will have to get a quote from them. it's either the aussie teins for SK's Bilstein GB shocks.
  18. Spotted coming home from work this morning approx. 1045 on Cunningham H/Way, one very nice Bay-Blue 34GT-R heading Willowbank way. Then spotted a black 34 sedan or coupe (couldn't quite tell between the shrubs) on the Ippy motorway heading outbound near Riverview. The GT-R was F**CKN' HOT!
  19. i thought that was one of the White's Targa or spare v-specs.
  20. http://www.bitdistribution.com.au/?stg=49 this is a site when i was flicking through a mates 4x4 magazine. i have also seen an e-bay auction selling something similar. it's something i'd be interested in one day as I already have a 7" screen.
  21. well I've just been under my car for a-look-see and found that the fronts are the eye setup and the rears are forks.
  22. Ghetto Girl - yes they are different sizes. Gtst4d - there are 2 different specs of the Gtx that I've noticed obviously being NA GT-X and turbo'd GT-X. I've seen this after going through many japanese auction listings. Unfortunately I haven't found any website links to prove this only by what I've read on the online auction sheets and then running the VINS through FAST to determine the real model designation. One thing I can say is that the GT-X was never AWD as it dosen't have a '4' in the model designation i.e. GT-Four.
