Yep - it's a good little thing. I'm more and more pleased with the purchase after each track day... I just wish I could do a track day every weekend LOL @ being comfortable with the driver - yeah - you reach awfully close the passengers leg each time you're changing gears, and you're basically touching shoulders the whole time.

Leeroy - Yep yep, it's stock other than the tyres. GTTR34 - Nahh - Using Harry's Laptimer on my iFail. I've got a DualAV XGPS160 10Hz GPS which I stuck on the dash to provide the data.

Really happy with how the day ran, however, I suspect some people need to understand that when it's hot, cars overheat. Lotus ran like a champ all day though, with the new Hankook Semi Comps, ran a good PB with a 1.37.37 in the third session. Only got one more and got Dave to jump in the car to provide some tips and pointers, unfortunately, didn't get a chance to put that to use as the track got oil down and closed for an hour and I wasn't game to go out onto an oily track. Looking forward to the next outing. Dunno why I waited so long to go to semis - these things are awesome. Yeah - that last session was epic! Really enjoyed following round the R33 (think the numberplates were JDM33), definitely quicker than me down the straights, but I was closing in under braking and probably about lineball around corners.

It might be a stretch - but I reckon I'll make it... RE: bringing stuff in the boot - good stuff. Saves having to make two trips back to town. Hey Simon - it's not so much a matter of not having jerry cans, more so space to fit them in the car

Yeah - a great day out there, well run... Definitely improved as the day went on. Thanks to SAU & Squires for the feed - was excellent. GL getting the car sorted Ash - hopefully it's not that expensive to fix. Had a ball in the "supercharged aurion-ish" - can't wait for Winton on the 30th.

I'm booked in for Tampered on the 30th.

Was a good day - thanks for organising guys. Shame about the lack of cars that showed up - I would have expected a much bigger turnout (given how much money people spend on making their cars go faster! )... Anyways, managed a best time of 12.66... Best mph for the day was 113.xx... 60 ft times were about 1.9secs (1.87 on my 12.66)... So I'm pretty chuffed with that for what is effectively a stock car. Here's the vid anyways.
