Hi all. Anyone else can't find anything better to do than sit at their computer?

I feel like the one who turns up after the party is over!!! And I look so pretty in my flannelette pj's. Won a bet with hubby tonight, and he now has to buy me a MOMO steering wheel. Hope to pick it up tomorrow. Wont sleep tonight.

I can get one new cheaper through my own people. It's only if I could get one for $200 second hand, I would take it, as I have to spend alot of money to get it ripped apart and customised anyway. It is a particular style I need though for the basic shape.

I don't want to tell everyone what I want to do and then have to explain why I haven't done it. Lots of plans, but I am also renovating my house, and it all costs. I do hope to have my car at show standard eventually, though I have had so many setbacks, I now realise I need to take it slowly. But it will be custom, and very individual.

Anyone got a GTR style front bar they want to sell?

I get all of my parts cost anyway. All except this damned front bar I need (GTR Style).

No, not importing, just keeping on the good side of a friend in the business. I have done a lot of unpaid work for him, in the hope he will give me a job once his regisration comes through. He wanted some info from the talk, but couldn't make it as his yard was open. Wed night was really not a good night for it.

I did see Paul behind me, I hope he doesn't think I was ignoring him, and I was sitting next to Zander. Was feeling very unwell, but had to be there to take notes for someone. Wanted to ask Paul for another sticker for my car, but then it just went on and on, so I left.

Yes Troy, I went, and I took notes. Got there early, had to talk to Reno about some RAWS stuff (which he couldn't help me with) then I had to leave early. It was starting to drag anyway.

Well, going to catch up on some of the other threads. By the way if you think you have seen me on here in the last couple of months, it wasn't me. It's just when I logged on tonight it said my last visit was at a time when I didn't even have a computer, so I am a little paranoid. One or two people know my password, or may have saved it when I logged onto their computer, though that was a couple of months ago.

Hi Ken and Troy. Work? Don't ask. Still looking for real 8:30 - 5:00 type job. Have taken 8 weeks off part time to study. They asked me at work if I minded doing a few extra shifts on the days I am not studying. Now I am working 41 hours a week and studying 3 full days a week. And I am renovating my house. Hardly time to wax my baby.

I want to get a GTR style front bar for my R33 GTST. Any colour will do, as it is only a base for a custom job. Don't know if there is a specific name for the one I want, but the bottom cross bar that goes across the air induction/intercooler space is on an angle of about 25 - 30 degrees. I can get one new easily, but thought I would try here first, save a few dollars:D Perth people only please, I want to see what I am buying up close.

Liz, just make sure you get it checked out before you buy. I had mine checked by SGIO. RAC wanted $250 for a check, SGIO only wanted $120. What I want to know is, why does it matter what the purchase price of the vehical is anyway for an autocheck? Will they do a better check if you are buying a $50 000 BMW than if you were purchasing a $500 Datsun? Anyway, a check is well worth it, it will give you an idea of what maintenence is upcomming, how worn the breaks are, electrical systems...they are very thorough.
