$500 here, $500 there, where does it stop? I am trying to be sensible about my car, but I need everything done now. I never thought too much about suspension, but my car is incredibly uncomfortable on a bumpy road. I have HKS adjustable suspension, but I have no idea about the springs or anything like that. When I asked my mechanic to lift the suspension he said it is at the optimum hieght for performance, and something to do with campher. Is there a cheap way of making it run a little smoother?

What sort of driving is taught? I would like to do one of those vehical handling things, wet weather driving and all. Some high speed stuff would be fun, but I would rather spend my money on something more applicable to every day driving.

Took me ages to get insurance. RAC were the only ones who would insure all of the mods on my car, and for the value of the car with mods. SGIO would only insure me for 16 000 (market value of 94 GTs-t).

Japan style plate brackets? Where from and how much? Never seen them before. Is there a button or something that u can control from inside the car like the engine spoiler, or is it always automatic?

I'm getting my high flow cat and 3" dump pipe done at MagicTune in Cannington. $520 for both, stainless steel, mandrel bends. I got a quote from a guy next door to Extreme machines, which was $500. He said he would do one pipe instead of two. I'm getting way out of my depth here, all too technical, but I went with the first quote because they are closer to home.

I'll catch up with U on the next cruise, or maybe a few of us could meet for coffee (or beer or something), and check out each others machines. I will take some pictures this week. I am having some leather done on my interior, and I want before and after shots. This means I will have to give it a good wash and detail. Rev210, the exhaust guy told me there is no point doing the dump pipe without doing the cat as well. Already booked in to do the job anyway, but is it a waste of time putting in a high flow cat?

Adrian, how is that front pipe? I am getting a 3" dump pipe and high flow cat done next week - hoping to get rid of some of the lag in my car. What did u think of Extreme Machines? that is where I got my car.

I only ever find out about these things after the event!!! I was pulled over last nite for my blue headlights. Got off with a warning, but the officer told me if he wasn't about to go off duty, he would lift the bonnet and find several reasons to give me a sticker. Must of had a really bad shift. As we were driving off, my son switched on the under car neons. What a lad!
