  1. Liz, I don't know. Maybe I am a bad housewife, maybe I am not pretty enough, slim enough, smart enough. But it does not help being told that every day. Nothing I do is good enough, and if I happen to do something right, I am reminded that it is only a once a year occurence.
  2. Thanks, funny how our own friends turn away when we are in need, it is people who don't know you well that really help. One day I will do something about it, but I need time to build strength. I need a direction before I move, whether I can move in my current situation I don't know. We do all deserve to be told we are loved every day, that we are beautiful and we are smart. Am I being whimsical, or do some people actually have that?
  3. Looks don't concern me. What matters to me is respect.
  4. Need a new job, new perspective.
  5. Take another day off work to spend quality time with my baby. Need to do a few things to get her over the pits. Will spend the day at Extreme Machines, well morning at least. Everything is OK when I am there.
  6. Hope everyone else is good.
  7. Sorry, don't mean to bring anyone down.
  8. I am surrounded by people who spend their lives telling me how stupid, ugly and fat I am. Most of the time I ignore it, but every now and again it gets to me. Most of the time I believe it, but every now and again I think to myself, maybe I'm not stupid, and every now and again, I think I have met someone who respects and understands me, but then it all falls in a heap.
  9. Hey I wondered if barstard was allowed! So then you send a message which you later regret. And don't get a reply.
  10. evening all. I have had a really bad day. Very depressed, and when you really need to talk, your friend is really obviously trying to get rid of you. They are mostly bastards.
  11. I should think about doing something now. Hey got a new MP3 player for car. Alpine, don't know what model, one of the latest releases. Isn't it funny how the salesman always has the stereo that you are looking at in his car? The salesman at Alberts changes his often, because last week he had a Clarion that I was looking at, and this week he has the Alpine.
  12. good morning all! My poor son has the flu, so I am at home with him. Unplanned time off work, hmmm... what to do? Quality time with the skyline. Do some cleaning, and think about having canary removed. Only one week left, then I can lower her again. Though it is nice not having to worry about hitting every speed bump. Maybe lower 2 inches.
  13. Do we know yet how many cars we can have? How much space we will have? I like the workshop idea, focusing on performance (as the Skyline was built for), tools and engine bits laying around (tied down of course), and each car should have a different focus on it, such as one showing off polished engine, one with dyno sheets displayed prominately, one with particularly nice body kit, one with custom interior... I agree the very loud audio systems can be annoying, and do not encourage people to hang around the display too long. If you have a good set up, people know by looking at the gear, they don't need to hear it. You always end up with some trev next to you who thinks he can out blast you with Mettalica (?)

    V-afc

Need advice from some of you technically intelligent people. I needed a SAFC and ended up ordering one, but I don't think I got the right thing. What I have is a V-AFC (Apexi) which is VTEC air flow Converter. Would I be right in assuming that these are actually designed for Honda vehicles? In the chart that gives engine types and corresponding wiring diagramms there are only Honda engine types listed. Have they sent me the wrong thing? It says specifically to only use this in the vehicles listed.
  15. Thought so Bambam, lots of Curtin uni students park at Canning though, even with the threat of fines. Good night.
  16. Well almost bed time. laundry and school lunch calling. Goodnight, hope to talk to you all during the week.
  17. That is why I asked if they lived together before marriage. It is a huge adjustment moving in with someone.
  18. Ken it has to be in proportion, that it all. If I was neglecting housework in order to spend time on the net he has a right to be upset, but I only log on if I have time. He is OK with it now most of the time, but He gets funny when I want to go on cruises or see you in person. I do try to include him, but the truth is I just don't have a good time when he is around. I just have to watch everything I say.
  19. I will give Liz a call tmrw. Things will look different in the morning. She would be a little upset now, and blow things out of proportion. Early days yet, they will get there!
  20. Was Liz living with Drew before the wedding? Hopefully only some minor living adjustments. Bambam, just interested. Nice white line parked at Canning College Thursdays, is that you? If not you probably Steve. Custom trim and all.
  21. I think most people flirt as an outlet. We are social creatures and crave human contact, and there comes a point in every relationship that that contact is lessened, so we get it elsewhere. I'm not talking about physical contact only, it is the social contact as well. Like us talking on the forum, it is time out, it is socialising. I think the point I am trying to make is that it is one form of escape, and I don't believe our partners have the right to try to control that, especially for me as a woman, I work full time, I study occassionally, I have an old fashioned partner who does nothing in the house, so I do it all. After working an 8 hour day, comming home to a couple of hours of housework and cooking, if I choose to talk to some friends on the net rather than fall asleep infront of the TV I believe I have that right, and the right to do that without feeling guilty. It seems to me that the aim of control is to stop your partner from doing something they enjoy, punishing them.
  22. Bambam, you study don't you?
  23. I did ask a male friend once, and he thinks a man has a right to check all of his partners messages. I don't agree. I would never even ask my husband about his messages, who he talks to etc. Where does it end? Does a man have the right to read his partners diary? It's the same principle to me.
  24. Why do men feel they have the right to control who their wives/girlfriends socialise with anyway? Can some of you guys please tell me. Do you actually believe that there is nothing wrong with telling a woman who she can and can't see? Do you think that you are doing it in her best interest?
  25. Liz, my husband does that. I wipe everything, but he always finds some evidence that I am being unfaithful. I want to make it clear that I am a good wife, but my husband is very jealous. He has finally accepted that I talk to you all on the net, but if there is an event, he always finds a reason I can't go, or he takes the car and doesn't come home until it is too late.
