licensing goes on tare weight of the car ...... so yeah you light as a feather R32's are cheap ..... but to license a whale is a bit of a different story But our stamp duty is a lot higher than other states - ive even sent cars over to queensland to get licensed before because its cheaper in stamp duty and then they dont have to pay anymore when it gets licensed here ...... you'd think shipping etc would cancel out what you wouldve saved but anyway i have seen it done!
