my closing arguement is: We aint perfect but we arent as inbred as tasmania or as boring as south australia. ummm yeah thought perth had a lot of asians til i went to QLD ..... but we are a pretty multicultral society over here ...... a little bit of everything.

ive been to brisbane but its fun for a holiday but too over commercialised for me. Perth is very pretty .... but rather boring. I dont know where the dry tumbleweed thing came from .... i guess we arent quite as "green" as QLD but the only real places liek that are towards the centre or up north of the state ..... its fairly green in metro area and down sounth. I actually went to Adelaide last year and i found that to make perth look almost like New York ..... now theres a place with tumbleweeds!!

i didnt see it but i saw the "follow up article" in the West Aust this morning ...... typical media sensationalism ..... so heres my 2 cents. A "hoon" in a hyundai is just as dangerous as a "hoon" in a import ..... unfortunately these guys forget that a hoon is a mentality not the car/bike you drive. An example of this is im not exactly the most well behaved person on the roads but i have a mental condition that makes me indulge in reckless, dangerous and self destructive behaviour (now i guess you know everything about me) and my car is the outlet for it..... put me in any car and the driving style doesnt change. But what Mike has said before is very true that these stories are created to sell papers n ratings ..... not to accurately portay reality. Therefore i think as far as the import community is concerned "no news is good news" .... charity runs etc have all been done before to try and raise our profile with police and the community ...... even "bikies" have done it to try and raise their profile - but it doesnt work. They even made meeting up for cruises look like an evil thing in the paper.

I work for WA Turf Club (no they dont grow grass) ..... basically we own both of the major racecoarse in WA and administer horse racing in WA. Im just an admin asst but hopefully will be getting trained up in marketing ...... one day over the rainbow.
