Anybody know? Currently my Auto is boost cutting at 12psi Which is ruining my fun. Ive been told the only way to get rid of a boost cut in an auto is to get an aftermarket ECU but that doesnt sound entirely right to me and i know someone .... somewhere must know how to get rid of it!! Please Help! Lauren

Gary, Paul got done a couple of nights ago for his wing too ...... he gets done for it all the time ... he should be able to tell you where to get it across the pits. Sorry to hear about it mate

yeah think everyone knows my story - bit disappointed ..... i went out there to beat my personal best of 14.5 which was done on wednesday night .... car shouldve been well n truely able to beat that ..... but a lot of power was lost at the top end - she just wasnt running smick! Thought it might be the weather ...... waited til night .... ran her again but just couldnt get her into the 14's no matter what i did ..... in fact she was running the same times she did with a broken engine!! Got into finals by fluke ..... but couldnt run cos the EBC died due to some dodgy wiring. Got home compared my 14.5 with my 15 sec time sheets and yeah something is definately wron gas the reaction and 60ft times for both timesheets are very close but she just died in the butt after that ...... very sluggish thru the top end. So i guess back to the workshop she goes AGAIN Thanks to all the people that came n said hi n gave me their support And yes TJ i did get membership number 069 ..... its all mine :elaugh:

Yeah your right there are too many chicks driving Skylines ...... it should just be me *jk* But honestly its nice that ive made quite a few good friends from this forum that are girls that also have the same kinda interest in their car as i do ... because i spend so much time with my car and so much money on it obviously its my favourite topic of conversation and i seem to bore "normal lancer drivin" chicks with it. So its nice to be able to have a few fellow girls to talk too that dont think im a freak with my car obsession. It seems that most guys agree that a girl driving a Skyline is not such a bad thing So are you gay? or are you one of those guys "women get in the kitchen and bake me a cake and how dare you have anything nicer than me" you seem kinda insecure if a girl in a Skyline makes you nervous. Im very proud of my car and what i have worked very hard for and achieved with it. The car gets used for performance reasons as well ...... in fact tomorrow im competing in the Perth series of Drag Combat and ive recently had an engine rebuild after blowing five pistons after street dragging on a sick engine (yes was a blonde moment but couldnt help myself). The sticker on the back of my car "No! its not my boyfriends!" says it all. In fact its one of the first things guys comment on "I just love your sticker!!" and they are usually very complementry of a girl driving a Skyline. No im not the "maria" type ..... as you can probably see from my avatar (yes that is me) but personally i dont think i should be restricted to a Lancer just cos im a girl ..... ive probably driven harder and had less accidents than you anyway! have you actually seen this on a car? cos we used to put them on corollas n stuff at work ..... and it looks really fake n really cheap. Cant remember where we got the kit from i think it was a motor trimmers place ordered them in for us.

timing belt maybe loose ..... when i had a new one put in it stretched and came loose ....i sent one of the apprentice mechanics to investigate ... my car was parked two blocks away the mechanic started and my boss goes "Geezus what is that sound?" it was that loud! so get it checked cos you dont want it falling off!

well car was spending a bit of time at SST before engine went bang ..... mainly due to me doing things a little backward in modification wise .... a phucked fuel pump which was replaced but too late .... a restrictive exhaust which was replaced too but probably too late and a mad woman driver. Before the big bang: Blitz EBC (Paul installed) Bosch Fuel Pump = 211rwhp SAFC II 3in Zorst Airpod = 246rwhp *insert big bang in here .... happened my first run down the drags* Now: Forged Pistons Dump pipes = 209rwhp LOL reason for this is because they havent tuned it yet no point til FMIC comes in. Next week: FMIC = hoping for about 280rwhp Near future: Big arse auto trans cooler Hiflow Turbo = ultimate goal 350rwhp. there ya go will keep ya updated.

Time has come for me to thank all the people that have helped get my baby back on the road .... im sorry to waste everyone elses time with this thread but i thought that these people just have to be acknowledged. People that have ever tried to work on my car know that she is grumpy, stubborn, hard to get along with and no matter what you want her to do she'll do the opposite ..... basically she is very much like her owner.... and im not lying my car constantly proves herself to be an absolute bitch to work on. Firstly Steve ..... thanks for housing my car for a couple of months, using your manpower, tools and expertise. Jeff ..... for having the patience to do those shitty jobs that paul palms off onto you pretending to know nothing. Ant ..... for doing what you do best .... getting the heart beating again Lastly Paul ...... who even tho the car is working is still putting aside his much needed time to do the finishing touches ... trying his best to have it completely perfecto .... when he really should be doing his own car for D/C. :cuddle: You've all put up with my whinging and have put so much time n effort into getting my car back on the road ..... a big huge THANKYOU :grouphug:

geez the title of this thread i was going to slap you .... thought you were planning to tow car down or something ridiculous.
