  1. hey guys, what options do i have for a larger sump on my 30? i know high energy do one but who else? has anyone custom fabricated/modified their original sump themselves? thanks
  2. i now have a nitto pump, what was the consensus to run the higher oil pressure is fine, or to remove the relief spring and lower the oil pressure. i have heard that the high oil pressure can errode bearings? this will be run in a drift car running high revs consistantly
  3. so you can get an arp stud kit for the main caps too? (already have one for the head) what cost are they roughly about? am chasing round 500 to 600 rwhp
  4. hey guys im about to put my bottom end together, and dont know wether to upgrade the main cap bolts or to just use brand new nissan ones is there an upgraded bolt for this? or is the standard (brand new bolt) one more than capable? thanks mitch
  5. its actually lots of strips of chrome foil if you look close you can actually see the join lines
  6. hey guys sorry if this in the wrong section but just wondering whats a RB20det+turbo+ecu+gearbox is worth and whats a rb30et manual gearbox worth thanks mitch
  7. well you have to try to make them look better somehow haha
  8. good work mate, i have been for 3 years now haha. i cooked a loom too when my engine blew and oil seal and caught fire on the track. you definately will have more response form the 30 vs the 20 it will be a big difference you will love it.
  9. nice car mate. i guess u drift it? cant go wrong with the rb30's for sliding my 2nd one is in progress aswell awesome this means i will have 3.1 litres aswell. theres no replacement for displacement haha
  10. cams dont like double dumpy's behind the front wheel
  11. thats is disgusting. looks like it was modelled with cardboard.
  12. yes that black 34 is mark and russ's r34 setup for time attack it is an awesome car. there is a whole thread on this car in the motorsport section. 19's or 20's are to big with kit or without they just look ridiculous. most skylines i have seen around with 19's and 20's on look like rollerskates. 18's are plenty big enough on any skyline. 17's and 18's do look good with a kit. just get some quality jap 18" wheels any of the previous suggestions would be good.
  13. yer i know their website... it is good for looking at kits but you cannot contact them to find out suppliers, the email doesnt work and i dont speak japanese to call them.
  14. zip ties are your friend . can hold on any piece of bodykit easily and the good thing is when you hit something ore catch it on something it snaps the zip tie and pops off without breaking the kit haha.
  15. i know that all to well although i blew my last engine up, now i havent driven my car for about a year and a half and just keep spending more money on it though it should be bloody fast when i finish it. nice intereior setup on ur car phunky. have you extended your steering wheel out at all? it seem to come out a long way...
  16. i run 5zigen 17 x 9.5 +22 all round. on the front i run brigestone potenza re55 semi slicks as well and swear by them. on the back i run 235/45/17 federal 595S but they are getting quite exxy in the cost, i found after trying out so many that these tyres suit me best. its sort of trial and error as to which tyre will best suit the way you like the car to feel. alot of the cheap tyres delam quickly and feel like you are skating when doing fast transitions also the federals are great in the wet awesome water dispersion.
  17. doesnt putting in a 26 rods and crank make the 20 a 24
  18. on the tripple drift how the hell is the middle guy seeing out the windscreen haha, i have big stickers over my windscreen but hes just taking the piss haha. who sells bn kits?
  19. these look like copy gtr guards
  20. uras or bn sports their kits are awesome
  21. hey guys im trying to chase down the BN sports kit for a R32 GTR and am having no luck, any one know where i could get one. thanks mitch
  22. i have seen a setup in which they used the t-bar clamps but had a small metal brace setup between each hard pipe so that if the clamp was failing the pipes couldnt separate anyway. similar to the setup on slide together exhaust piping where the pipe slides into the next with a small metal bracket or spring to hold them together
