  1. wow they are harsh over there, ive gotten over the pits many times here in perth with heaps of mods an things hidden and the dpi not even picked it up
  2. shit all sounds pretty suss, and he isnt claiming credibility on here recently...
  3. they will fit but not properly, as stated before because the gtr guards go wider around the arches the skirts will it out further on a gtst
  4. custom front pipe out side of car sounds awesome, ridiculously loud though... not suitable for street use
  5. lol thats not low. ive had my gearbox touch the ground before when my car was ridiculously low
  6. i run solid cusco ones because they are strong as the proverbial, they are great. i was thinking about going the adjustable lower arm aswell
  7. exactly what he said ^^ the nut is really ther just to get the length right. i run my drift car without one and wouldnt notice the difference really with one.
  8. hahaha there was an r32 going round perth NOR for a while with 20"s on it... it looked ridiculous like a overlander rollerskate
  9. is it worth replacing the idler bearing bolt then in future builds?
  10. mate by posting things like that you just look like an idiot. if you dont have anything worthwhile to say dont say it at all.
  11. yer that was what i was getting at, but if you are getting it engineered then its alright i guess
  12. hows the build going?
  13. im pretty sure there is rules against increasing capacity size by so much? i dont know
  14. wow thats crazy numbers. well done
  15. i use bridgestones re55's awesome tyre, havent had any experience with the dunlops
  16. yer you couldnt of said that better paul, these builds take time. mine is going into 7 month territory and im still fair way away haha good build anyway
  17. im going down the 26 head path, hopefully going to pull some big numbers with all forged internal and pretty parts to support and keeping the 6 t/b's as someone mentioned to keep response but am yet to see what numbers im going to pull
  18. learn how to launch properly and get some sticky rear boots then burn the v8's off the line.
  19. i did the singo cam 30 in my 32 drift car for a season, the torque was great fun but now buildin the thing from scratch with 26 head on it, will be even better. i never had a problem with clearance issues running the standard 32 mounts. i did though have a custom inlet plenum with good ole XF throttle body. lol and yes the 32 will have more traction than the 31.
  20. the cost to get everything custom made is huge, like someone said before. just go turbo the method is tried and true
  21. flames are awesome i get massive ones out of my side pipe on my drift car. haha, makes nice blue ones too when backing off along the freeway at night haha
  22. following that the exhaust will have to exit on the right hand side of the car have you though about how you will route the exhaust? keep in mind your turbo is on the left hand side of the car... for street use its pretty pointless as it will reduce your ground clearance (to possibly illegal heights) and draw unwanted attention from the boys in blue. also IMO cars with bodykits not lowered look just plain ridiculous
  23. ill try to get some pics of my custom made trailer. tandem axle with ramps that slide away underneath, tyre rack at the front with attached toolbox. i agree with the whole thing about single axle trailers. i wouldnt be to keen on towing one with my car on it.
  24. i run a side pipe on my r32 race car. -one problem you will run into is running the exhaust under the chassis rail it will hang very low. you will need to find a way around it -you wont be able to fit any sort o mufflers in there as it will make the exhaust lower (unless you car is overlander spec) -its completely illegal -as with the mufflers point it will be too loud -it will be a cop magnet
