I own a R33 and i have problems getting boost. For example when boost should be coming in the boost gauge sits a 0 and i can hear boost bleeding off. To get any boost at all i really have to hit it and even then its not getting the boost it should. Someone told me it could be my turbo but i can HEAR the boost bleeding so I'm thinking BOV. I'm running a stock BOV and stock boost. Would getting an after market BOV solve this problem?? Thanks

Yes it happens when the car is warmed up although it is more noticable when its cold, it happens everytime i guess, depending on the circumstance its more noticable than others. Its not REALLY bad, but i have noticed a power loss, i guess that could mean only one cylinder but i really wouldn't know. Thanks

My car is a R33. Jus cracked the 100,000km mark. I have noticed a loss in power at about 2000rpm, as i accelerate past 2grand it hesitates up to about 3grand. Could this be a timing a problem and therefore getting a new timing belt fitted would be the solution, or is this sumthing like a coil problem.. I dont know much about car mechanics, but i know enough to buy a skyline.

Thanks guys, had a look at my fluid level today, wasn't empty or really low but low enough for the little float thing to be hitting the bottom, so i topped it up and its sweet now.

I own a R33. A warning light has come on while i was driving, it wasn't there before. The light is the same light as when your handbrake is on. Don't worry i have tested to make sure i didn't leave the handbrake on. Anyway, when at the lights i thought: crap, whats the go with my brakes, so i gave them a few pumps to make sure it was ok and as i pumped the brakes my revs went up and down with the brake pumping and as i held the brakes it felt as though i was losing pressure as it was goin to the wall sometimes... Can anyone help?! I'm no mechanic i'm a scientist for gods sake..
