That is a good price. Sent a txt, but I'll ask here incase you get back to this one first... 290rwkw is big power for a LS1 with a tune, so the cam must be quite aggressive ? what's the fuel consumption like now ? I know the tune helps, but any idea on L/100kms ??

Didn't get any offers over the weekend, so put the price back up on carsales to over 20k. The stats show I'm getting more hits with the price just over 20k than just under... weird. Anyway, almost certainly will sell the dreamscience hand unit which will have 4 lives left on it after I sell the car, so will keep you posted if you'd like. People don't seem to like the idea of a tuned car, so will flash back to stock before sale.

Well it's either an SS or an XR6T to be fair. Leaf springs are a bit of a concern, but XR6T engine power and econ is awesome... XR8 is out, apparently it's an engine out job to put extractors on ?! no deal. Yeah not gonna lie, front wheel drive is a downfall... I don't care what ford says. This car certainly can break traction quite easily, especially with the extra power, that said, it's got decent tyres and a test drive will show a decent amount of grip for FWD. Certainly once the speed is up, it just gets stronger and pulls very hard in the higher gears. It's a 160kw@fronts, but a very flat power curve with boost coming on very early, feels less peaky than my other I've had with similar power. very responsive.

Have really enjoyed my time in skylines ( especially the GTR ) but I am staying focused ( great pun ) on my goal this time... as much as I don't like holdens... I need a ute, the dirt bike is getting very sad that it's been neglected. No one wants to see a sad dirt bike.

nar there is a smell dent in that. quite small tho, could probably panel beat it into shape yourself without much effort, or get them to bog and spray when they spray the rest. now up on ebay. selling by saturday is likely.

Due to a bad parking story (I’m a rubbish reverserer), the rear bar is damaged as is one of the tail lights and the centre bit. I have all the new parts and it is going to cost $500 for the bar spray and fitting of the parts. This should be done next week. Price is $10,000 if you want it before then, or $11,000 once it’s in show condition again.

maybe they are just points people can check. i wouldn't be defensive about those points if they are fixed, just show people each aspect that has been brought up and show them how it is now better. i would be interested if you are interested in trades plus cash your way... i would definately be doing a compression test myself though as well as checking each and every point that has been raised in this thread. msg me if you are interested in trades. :-)

but u aren't CONTROLLING the air FLOW are you. u are controlling the SIGNAL/VOLTAGE as u said... but yeah, u know what it's doing how are u finding the emanage? i've been looking at it for a while. thinking of using one on next car, use microtech at the moment, but they look good. ignition control harness would be a must!
