Yeah, people seem to say, you get what you pay for, so maybe they'll be happier to pay more. I just wanna clear my debt and wait till I get a place with a Garage before getting another one. I'll accept $27K if that makes people happier. ps - if i sell it, the charade is getting a CB70, which I hope to make over 100kw@wheels with, giving it similar power to weight as skyline. How funny will that be. Do you need any more incentive to by my car guys?

I rang up Mum today and asked to have a word with GTR, whilst a lengthy discussion with GTR, he said he wants someone to drive him. Can someone help him out? It only takes a dollar a day, (for 21,000 days) and you can save this baby from the deprived life it lives now, in a tin shed, next to a CRX and a lancer for heavans sake! Do you people have no emotions? This GTR is crying out for love... we all need love... this is breaking my heart... poor little guy, he's such a trooper.... *sniff sniff*

Did you know someone on the supra forums asked if it really was a GTR, cause it only had a GT badge on the side, instead of a GTR badge. Also informed me it doesn't look like a GTR.... LOL what a spanka.

GONESKI! Its a pretty normal sort of 89 GTR. AND ITS SOLD! 170,000kms. 9months rego NSW - ATL-26R 94Model Turbos. AVS 17x9" rims. Custom front pipes. 3.5" Exhaust Adjustable coil over suspension Strut brace. Gauges, boost and water temp. Straight body. Only bumper scratches. Reasonable interior. Issues: Bad Blow-By - Have catch can, will leave off so you can see how bad blowby is, but its there to be fitted. Ignitor not replaced yet, still has miss after warms up. (Not coils, have checked by swapping and with multimeter) Leaky welsh plug at back. For these reasons, $17,500 neg.

Thats the one. Just found the camera then, but its dark. I'll go try find a spot to take some pics then post them up. Its too cold to wash it though, so it is a tad dirty, I'll just change them over after I get a chance to wash it.

Hahahahaha. Nar man, thanx for the attention. Like I'll tell anyone. Don't really care if I do or don't sell. Just thinking I wouldn't mind the upgrade as I've been off P's for a while. I don't care what specs are. I'll tell ya, I sold a CBR250R and bought this, for one reason, this bike is faster and sounds better. Maybe CBR250RR's are quicker, who knows, probably pretty even, but I don't care about that either, check their prices!!! My mates CBR600F is quicker, my mates ZZR250 is much slower, my CBR250R was slower. Thems the facts. Anakha was just letting people who don't know bikes know FZR's are a great bike. We aren't talking about whats faster anyway. Cache is just making sure everyone knows the real deal, so thats all good too. I like this thread. :uh-huh: So if anyone is interested, let me know, if not, I'll be a happy little guy and continue to go for rides on the weekends and whenever I please on this little rocket. Nar its blue. I will puts some pics up when we find my flat mates digi cam. I have had it just over 12 months. I got it when I just got my P's cause I noticed my CBR250R was not as quick as the CBR250RR's and was cut. Went down to Sydney and got this guy, as soon as I got on it, it was a little scary, much quicker than the CBR up top. pics soon. But you can look for other FZR's and see what it looks like, as its the standard blue pattern with white. even has R2 written on it like the other baby R1's advertised at bike shops

I think its 91' Yamaha FZR RR 250 Great cheaper option to CBR RR's I sold 89 CBR R to upgrade to this bike. Much much quicker!!! Fastest learner legal bike you can get (less well known than CBR RR's, but meant to be quicker) Is infact a DOUBLE R, which is alot better than SINGLE R bikes. Noticable differences are power output, frame of bike, TWIN front discs. EXUP valve Magnum pipe About 30,000kms. 8months rego. Asking $4,200. Remember you want, RR bikes not single R. Have been off P's for a while, don't mind if I do or don't sell, I really like this little rocket... if I do sell, I'll get an R6.

Do you have stock ECU? What do these ECU's boost cut at? I have run unlimited boost before (old car, just to see), its not THAT hard to control with your right foot. I don't think you would damage your engine before you ripped your turbo exhaust wheel off, especially stock turbos.

Sounds like a fuel thing. The fact that its not even trying sounds like its not got fuel to burn. Don't think its a fecked engine, its gotta be fuel due to a vacuum leak or another line down where you were playing being bumped.

Yeah, probably depends on def of blow. exhaust wheel coming off probably doesn't make smoke. So twas leaky pipe hey... car dying slowly... did it feel like u ran out of fuel. If you haven't run out or fuel, what about fuel not being supplied for some reason?

Pfft alot of smoke.... Maybe normally, but I can tell you the turbos on my GTR were both fecked and there was no smoke. In saying that, if you can hear the noise of air, its gotta be a leak somewhere. When mine were blown, it was just like they weren't there, no noise, nothin' Compressor wheel just wasn't there on one... half there on the other.

I have heard they made significant improvements in the newer microtechs and continue to do so. I will be going Power FC cause its cheaper and easier for a hack like me. I just remember the first time I jumped into my car to drive away form RX Engineering, he said, take it for a drive and only pay what I quoted if you are smiling... I couldn't help it... he got his money. They are good units.

I ran an LT-8 on my 3SGTE and it idles perfectly, cold starts a million times better than standard and ofcourse, made a crap load more power than standard. You can run an LT-8 on 6 cyl, but they made the LT-12 for that, so as Roy said, if you go Microtech, don't use a LT-8 which is really meant for 4 cyl, you aren't giving it the best chance to work properly.
