The adapter was made buy someone in japan.
It bolts on to the standard manifold, and has a pipe for the ext. gate welded to it and the turbo bolts onto the other end of the adapter. it is about 3" long.
The ext. gate sits above the manifold when installed, slight modification of the engine mount heat shield is required.
I have the following Turbo 'kit' from my R32 RB20 for sale.
HKS 3037s 56t Turbo with adapter (with ext. gate pipe) to suit standard manifold.
HKS aluminium intake pipe
Greddy 50mm external wastegate with screamer pipe
HKS step-up silicon hose from turbo to intake pipe
3" stainless front pipe (from turbo to cat)
asking $3000 or swap for HKS 2535 with custom manifold
Turbo, adapter, intake pipe, hose and wastegate were previously fitted to a R33 RB25.
I am building a RB23, ( RB25 crank & rods, 4AGZE pistons) and i need to know the clearances (min, max) of the following:
1. Piston to bore clearance
2. Piston ring gap (when installed)
3. Piston pin clearance?
4. Bigend bearings clearances
5. Main bearings clearances
Thankyou
What model corolla 4agze pistons r u using ie (100, 101 series)
I was reading that the 101 models r forged etc...
I also heard that the hight of the pistons is 5mm taller than the RB20 one's
everyone except Squizz and 2rismo, what the hell race were u watching.
Coming into the corner Ingall gave Skaife racing room to pass during the corner still racing room, at the end of the corner Skaife forces Ingall a little wide, which in turn causes Ingall's L/H side tyres to drop of the concrete and into the dirt causing Ingall's BA to swerve right, hitting the L/H rear quarter of Skaife's VY. Skaife went sideways and Ingall swerved right to avoid T-Boning Skaife. Then the little hissy fit etc. etc.
firstly: i just did the diag. and got code 54. Now my car is a manual but it has an Auto ECU (1/2 cut), i don't now if this would affect my car or not but. My 'line is sluggish but when warm (cold start issues), but when warm runs fine till start boost at 5000rpm (3037s) then it just
bangs and kinda backfires and doesn't go anywhere. I just put this down to a nearly stuffed motor as is pisses oil out of the breathers for the tappet covers. But occasionally it runs fine (full boost) in a couple of gears, usually at cold amb. temps.
Secondly: I use to work at a nissan dealership, and the nissan consult II does work with the R32 skyline at least.
uuuuummmmmm.. yes, yes it does. Well not exactly, more like oil spurts out of catch can, oil goes all over exhaust, oil burns, oil turns to smoke, smoke follows car for a few hundred meters.
In short, it's rebuild time.
VMX80 is resonably thick, especially for a performance G/box.
Most import manuals will tell that the G/box oil never needs changing... Bullshit.
But it doesn't need to be changed very often. I would recommend u go and spend some money on decent synthetic B/box oil.
I have read that this was how 'Drifting' was started.
Some MotoGP champ did it all the time during races and was famous for it. then Jap guys started trying it on 4 wheel (AE86)
