  1. LOL. I'd love to see the rain dance for that.
  2. Easily arranged.
  3. Missed a few apexes there Glenn But the footage is great - more. MOAR! (plus photos).
  4. I didn't manage to get it to cock its leg but I believe that can be done with the standard suspension. I'll ask on the Aussiefrogs forums. Probably turn 1 after the main straight or the last turn of the S before going onto the main straight are the only corners at Mallala where this would happen. Maybe I wasn't driving hard enough I hope your engine is ok Luke.
  5. None. It makes a difference having 4WD and a longer wheel base. Plus the 205 GTI is renown for lift off oversteer which is unusual in a FWD car.
  6. Well done Dan. Now you can have a belated schoolies with all the left overs from last week.
  7. Congrats guys. Cute little fellow. Best of luck for the next 2 months (and the 20 years afterwards).
  8. I think my GTR was the only one that had an issue and that was the oil catch can spewing oil all over my engine. Made a huge mess and was a waste of Motul Chrono 300V but didn't prevent me from going out - it just meant that I had to clean my engine bay after every session. Craig left early with his Stagea 260RS which was trailing a lot of black smoke on the track but I didn't speak with him to know what the specific problem was. My best lap was 1:24.06 - I just couldn't break into the 23s but that was with a hand held stopwatch so that may have added the 0.07
  9. Morning biatches. Seems like a nice day to race the GTR around a track. What will you be doing today?
  10. F**king ISP! I've been shaped for 13 days now and it was supposed to end at midnight last night. nearly 12 hours into the 1st day of my next month and I'm still shaped. Give me some bandwidth! I need my carporn.
  11. Apology accepted.
  12. I meant that you (as in anyone) could purchased the extra bays off of the lady who took the paperwork and the cash for the CAMS licence. Nothing to do with you Adrian.
  13. FYI Steve using yellow like you did here is virtually unreadable for us using the default colours. I read "Ch stma inne" but still decided I wanted to go... it sounded so exotic But to answer the OP my GTR is currently being repaired at Tonsley Crash Repair on South Rd. They are good people and have contacted me every time they have had to order something from Japan there cause a delay, run into a problem or finished a section. I won't comment on the quality of their work yet though as the car isn't finished yet.
  14. ^^^^ The recent private track day included two sheds (6 car bays) and if you wanted more beyond that they were $25 each (for 1 car space I believe but George aka Adelaideprosound may be able to confirm this as I believe he was the only person to pay for an extra bay). Yay I have my GTR back... for 4 days. It's had a change of brake fluid, oil catch can connected and new clamps around the intercooler. I also bought 2x 20L Fuel Safe containers (the black ones Kim) & 2 bottles of octane booster. The car was clean but today's rain has ruined that. Other than that I just need to fill 'erup and Robert's your mother's brother.
  15. I'm here to help. Your previous statement was going to create extremely high expectations that mere mortal men wouldn't be able to live up to. And that just creates disappointment. Now the ladies expectations have been lowed to the point where all you could possibly do is exceed them.
  16. So sad for the families of the driver & passenger. RIP to those two and to what appears to be a 1978 Porsche 911 2.7
  17. Corrected for accuracy.
  18. Couldn't be me Martin. My car is never on the bloody road (although I will have it for the next 4 days).
  19. How come it is $110 per garage when it was $25 on the October trackday? Seems a bit of a steep price hike! Does 1 garage equal the complete shed ie 3 cars can fit underneath it? Even so that would have been $75 less than a month ago.
  20. I run KU36 275/35/18 on 18x10 +20 BBS rims. I needed to get my guards rolled to stop the tyres rubbing but this was after the crap repair my car received so maybe if the guards had been fitted correctly the tyres wouldn't have rubbed.
  21. Pearl Jam concert tonight. Woot!
  22. I'll come along. I volunteer at the RSPCA on Wednesdays though so I will be well and truly exhausted and may have to avoid the paddlin' rituals. And no more auctions for 'a night with Scandy' as I was sore for over a week after the last one.
  23. Wow! I never knew RB25s could use such small injectors. No wonder they are such pussy engines. *Make sure your sarcasm alert is set to the 'on' position*
  24. My helmet arrived from the USA today. Shoei full face for USD$303 inc delivery - bargain! Tomorrow I'm getting some brake fluid - going to try Elf HTX 115. It's a bit cheaper than Motul RBF 660 and apparently works just as well if not better.
  25. That's what I thought. I'll have to search for the guy's profile. Congrats Cara. You must have impressed. Pity the tax man takes half but think of it as saving until July 2010.
