I have some rota wheels for sale. they are replica's of the work emotion cai' I have decided i dont want them as i need cash to get my car on the road. A mate of mine as some rota wheels and the are awesome, cant fault them. IMO the best replica's i have ever seen. I dont have pics but they are literally brand new in box. They are gunmetal color. this is the exact wheel. (below) The sizes are 5 x 114.3 - rears 18x9.5 +28 fronts are 18x8.5 +25 These wheels are pretty tough to find and i can actually get the full range at possibly a reasonable price with quantity so i my be starting a group by as well, pm me if you have any interest. i have an rb20 wiring diagram i can scan it at work but you'll have to wait till tom/tues before i can get it to ya.

i cant think off the top of my head sorry mate, but do you have a wiring diagram or just a pinout? it might be the eccs relay, i think the output side of the switch runs to your afm and 2 or 3 other sensors. if you get a diagram it should be just a case of following where the wire goes to, ill try dig up my rb20 diagram and have a look.

i didnt buy the motor knowing it was stuffed, i thought it was a working motor, it a lesson learnt for sure...... Apparently he didnt know, but who's to tell. im still only 99% its a ring issue cause if this nois is valve related, maybe its just not sealing and thats why it has no comp (wishful thinking). I took the head off and put a thicker gasket on before dropping the motor in and the pistons and bores looked great, no sign of glazing or detonation... Mr_fanny, its kinda hard to tell but i reckon that might be it. pretty sure its the same actually. Adams fast, i took the cover off and turned it by hand and everything seemed to be fine, would that be sufficient or do ya reckon i should still turn it over? So how do i bleed the lifters?

yeah i would agree with you 99% of the time, and i hope its the case because im pullin the motor down, but i just dont wanna rebuild bottom end and still have the prob. This noise is LOUD!!! it literally sounds like it banging the rocker covers.

Hi all, I have an RB25 that is pretty unhealthy atm i think. I bought the motor off a dude (anjrod) on this forum and it has blown rings in cylinder 2. I got it started and was listening out for any noise's. Everything was sweet, then i started it again and after a few seconds was making this TERRIBLE knocking noise which sounds like its coming from under the rocker covers! I have a feeling its to do with the valves but im a bit unsure cause its FKN LOUD!!! It dosnt make a noise when just cranking it over, only once its running Could this be to do with the hydraulic lifter operation? i dont know how these operate so thats my guess atm. I really need to know so i can decide on whether to rebuild the motor or buy a new one and start fresh and i only have 2 months till i get my license back, geez!! Thanks in advance for any help. Awesome!! She's running. I found a plug i hadn't connected (the one that kind of bridges across the ignitor.....kinda :S) Anyway, after a week of fkn around, thats all it was. How dumb could you be :8...... at least i know EVERY sensor and harness in my car is ok LOL!!! Thanks heaps for ya help guys!! Ryan

thanks for the reply. the motor cranks fine. i tested most of the sensors and they all checked out ok. the motor itself has gone rings in cylinder 2, dodgey f**k i bought it off sold it to me as working motor :S i have another block i am building but want to get this ironed out and started so when the bottom end is ready it can just be swapped over.

buy a plazmaman manifold. they make em for rb20's. great manifold too.

Hey guys n girls, I have ANOTHER question about a r32 rb25 conversion. I have been reading around a lot on this and finally finished the conversion myself which was quite rewarding.... until i tried starting it. For some reason it wont start nor even think about starting. There is def fuel getting through as it STINKS of fuel and i pulled the hose off to check and its pumping fine. I'm pretty certain its not getting an spark, i dont have a timing light to test it with so i just pulled the plug out and turned it over just hanging the spark plug in the coil, and no spark. I've been readin through the workshop manual and tested the harness and coilpacks. The test in the manual for the igniter was a little confusing but im pretty sure its ok. Im starting to lean towards something ive done wrong wiring up the RB25 (im using RB25 loom as well) but everything seems to be working fine i.e. fuel pump, eccs and ignition relay. Any help is appreciated. Ryan
