  1. i 've got the JUN as well, a bit pricy but it does the job and yes it does have more pressure just call CRD and they can tell you more.

I'm running a HKS 2835R with a 1.12 exhaust housing on my 1.8L 20V Golf GTI. at the moment it's untuned and starts pulling hard at 5300 rpm, it's so funny to drive because it only revs to 6500rpm at the moment. (the aim is for it to keep up with the GTR) Anyway the turbo would be tops on a 3.1L! i would rekon it would be going silly at around 3000rpm. speak to douge boy and see if he has any spare turbos for sale. great bloke!
  3. i have never heard about a bad SARD product, until now. i'm running one on the GTR as well as SARD 600cc injectors and a SARD furl rail. no problem. most people i have spoken to recomend the sard product. my 2 cents anyway.

  5. mate i did mine yesterday. when you pull out the cable to your computer and twist it to the left, the bottom right of the plug, you need to splice into the green cable 8 pins in from the right hand side.on the bottom row. and the red is your 12v and your black is earth. done. too easy.
  6. go the GT-ss HKS turbos they hammer! in my GTR they make 290 at all fours with 18 psi!

  12. The exhaust will be twin 3'' i think that should be enough but i might put a 4'' instead of the second 3''. so it will be a trust 3'' very quite plus a 4'' straight out the side! should be very very loud!! can't wait.

  17. hi guys its been a bit but finally we go the car back from being tuned. now these results are still with a very mild tune and with no cam ajustments and with only 18 psi. wait for it..... 290 AWKW! as for the torque up around the 6000N what ever that means. Jim's done all the work on the car and said once we have done another 3000km's he'll do another tune and really crank up the boost and get the turbo's to spoool up quicker. at the moment due to the very relaxed tune they are only coming on hard at 5500 rpm, but don't worry when they do come on you start going pretty fast pretty quick! i would like some advice from you guys jim said if we go the whole hog and get the jun intake with big single throttle body, he'll will be able to get most of the boost by 2500 rpm. beore it goes back for another tune we will be getting another 3'' exhaust venting straight to the air. via a butterfly with remote switch. as well as getting a custom cold air intake done with insulation! the goal is 350 AWKW lets all hope its possible with GT-SS's cheers !!

  21. sorry i'm a bit slow but what is 518 hp at the wheels in kw and what dyno was that on. also is oncw you have run a 10.99 or less you to install a roll cage as well as getting your andra licence.
  22. i ran the standard turbos with 260/9.15 tomie cams.the mods were as follows. stainless manifolds dump pipes twin 2.5 inch into 3 inch exhaust nismo twin plate power fc trust 100mm intercooler hks air filters that was it at the time the car just hammered! we had a drag Vs another 33 gtr which had cat back boost up and intercooler we were running up to .9 bar anyway we completely smashed him blew him away. the car is going in at the end of the week to see how much power we can get at 15 PSI i'm hopeing 270awkw.we'll see.
  23. it sounds like the pistons were not machined corectly causing piston slap. my 33gtr has JUN oversized pistons and it sounds completely stock!
  24. as for the same as trust thats a definite NO trust= Japan,Hybid=China as for quality i've seen some with the internal passages a little bent up so just check before you buy. great price!
