  1. hi guys i don't know were my other post got to i can't find it anyway i'm selling an Apexi power Fc off a r33 GTR its in the car at the moment and you can see it working as well as the hand controller. the resaon for selling is that we are upgrading to a full motec unit. $1000 dollars seems fair as i paid 1300 not long ago from somone from this forum. anyway cheers and have a good one. $1000.

  3. just my 2 cents i saw jim from CRD make 250awkw with 33 gtr with only power fc boost controller cam gears air filter and a cat back exhaust.
  4. the car its coming off is a 33 GTR but some posted that is works on the 32 gtr as well. as for how old i don't no i bought it of my mate.

I just heard through the grape vine that merli/andrews R33 GTR which just made 300awkw just died at the race track, i heard that it threw a main bearing. or something i hope this isn't true as i couldn't think of a better drag, than a r33 gtr with the same turbos and the same cams. Andrew can you tell us, what happened?

I bought ours of Dough boy but i'm not sure if he will get anything more from japan otherwise i would have got them of nengun! the kit comes with 2xturbos 1xexhaust gasket and the little hoses that you need and it shows how to install them as well. i was just at supernats and saw joe but his RX-7 into the wall not a pretty site but he's OK. his car is stuffed.
  10. i've got the Blitz i-D limited edition uras thing it looks cool and is very easy to use. my brother has had the AVC-R and it worked a treat, as for boost dropping off it could be something to do with exhaust flow or turbo running out of puff. my 2 cents.
  11. great results merli thats what we expect as well. when does the boost start,and could you post a copy of your dyno graph,as i think everyone would like to cheack it out. how many kays did you put on it before the tune and who was it that did the tune if you don't mind? dough boy do you think it could be the exhaust housing that could be causing the boost struggle. another thing was that on the HKS web site they state that the SS's are ment to flow as much as the 2530,320hp each i think. i don't know how true that maybe ,but i've also seen a HKS dyno graph the a set of SS's on a 2.8L and 274deg camed car pull 750HP at the engine! has anyone SEEN! big figures from GTSS's. Merli again great result by the was we are using a blitz i-D boost controller if that means anything,seems good but it hasn't seen any boost yet so hard to tell.
  12. hi fellas we got the car back dismorning. it's running very very rich to the point were we might take it back to get it leaned up a bit. tonight when i was following the car home it threw a couple of nice flames. the turbos are absolutely mad they were spinning for about 35 seconds after the car had stopped. can't wait to seee what tey start spoiling up at once there tuned. and no the car is in such a consevative tune i have no idea what they spoil up at the moment because its so rich. i'll post a new thead once we get some more results out of the car. catch ya!
  13. grab some splitfire coil packs that should fix any ignition problems. i've seen them for 500 bucks. maybe nengun?
  14. my tuner says that at around 300 awkw they start to be less accurate because of the element. got z32 on mine because they use a different element than the rb20 ment to be more accurate when fine tuning.
  15. no we haven't as i just posted we are getting the car back tomorow. once we screw 26PSI into the motor it should make some good power though.
  16. no you don't need the fuel rail as well we just got a a precaution since it has dual feed as well as more flow potential. the reg is for fine tunning the fuel press. and the car is getting picked up tomorow morning at 8 i'll tell you how it goes!
  17. got Tomei cams and cam gears they seem to work fine. just make sure the cap screws are done up tight! go tmine from hioctane
  18. no you don't need the sard reg or fuel rail. we did it as a precaution since you can lean out no. 6 cylinder with the standard fuel rail when your chasing big numbers (320KW atw or more) just putting the injectors in and changing the intank pump will be fine for most cases.
  19. we would luv a 10 second pass out of it. theres always nos and a possible 6 speed hollinger that could go on as well. and by the way what is the best drag/road more drag of course tyre. and whats the cost or there about!

Hi guys i probably could have posted a little earlier but, i didn't. anyway i thought you might be interested in the results of a set of GT-SS turbos installed on a built engine. mods as followed, Tomei 260/9.15 cams ported head stainless manifolds highflow piping (intercooler) power fc sard 700cc injectors sard fuel rail sard fuel reg twin bocsh fuels pumps twin fuel lines os triple plate clutch blitzs boost controller splitfire coils trust 100mm front mount dual 3'' into single 3'' zorst rebuilt engine with forged rods and jun pistons now 2628cc jun oil pump and all the other usual stuff that goes on with a complete build. i know your all waiting for the answer but, we will be picking up the car tommorow. as in monday.and then we have to run it in 15 psi or so for about 2000kms and then we will see what it can make. question is how much power has been seen in australia with these turbos at the wheels in killer watts? cheers i'll tell you what the car goes like and when it starts to boost in the next few days.

  22. Just come across a set at the right money, what do you think of them ?? Would they suit my set up?? Power FC Dual 3" > 3.5" Sub Zero manifolds and dump pipes 260' in and ex cams (Tomei) cam gears (Tomei) 4" Trust cooler 700cc Sard Injectors 600hp Fuel pump HKS Twin plate clutch any help on the turbo's would be great.. P.S. This car is not being built as a Drag car, just a quick streeter
  23. thats exactally what happened!!! called them at 2pm picked them up at 3:30pm. One of my mates has the same set up with these cams and is running 330kw at the wheels.. cant wait to get them installed and tuned
