  1. Forgot to add I will separate the drive mandrel and ross pulley from the damper if you're not running an external pump/dry sump.
  2. Per topic, I have a brand new and unused ATI 1000hp harmonic balancer to suit r32 gtr accessories. The balancer comes with the water pump pulley, ROSS dry sump pulley & custom drive mandrel. Asking 700. PM or email [email protected]
  3. Hey mike - no progress unfortunately. There's a lot to do before you see results!
  4. Try sending the drivers side sump 'drain' to the catch can along with the cam breathers and either block or send the head drain to the passenger side sump.
  5. It will be going on an rb30 bottom end. I spent a bit of time talking it over with Geoff and he convinced me the 83-75 is perfect on an rb26 but too small on a 30. We will see I guess! I've only trial fitted the manifold using a gt35 on the old rb26 (pics at the bottom of the first page) - the manifold fouled on the steel hr engine mounts but the extra deck height on the rb30 should clear that up. The front gate sits pretty close to the strut tower and the gate plumbing is going to be interesting. The inlet and ic pipes shouldn't be an issue though.
  6. If it's remotely relevant my old rb26 with 0.82 gt35 was making ~400rwkw with egt's (as measured approx 1" from the head) between 870-890degC on all cylinders after applying some pretty big corrections. By comparison a friends rb with a t04z making a fair bit more power had egt's ranging between 860 and 910deg (a lot less work put into trimming individual cylinders). Both cars on pump 98.
  7. Poncams SOLD. Head now 850ono with standard cams.
  8. Where does your manifold locate the front wastegate? There seem to be a number of iterations. I don't have p/s but intake side plumbing is the easy part - plumbing up the two gates etc looks to be the challenge (a challenge to do neatly that is).
  9. Now you just sound incredibly ignorant.
  10. Define . ICK138 is the part no. for the pintle caps from AZNEW. The rail came from mrparts.com.
  11. Did a quick trial fit and it all go's together well (easier than the brand new hks rail that needed modified stools etc). I'll grab some pics tomorrow as well as part numbers for the pintle caps and the rail details.
  12. I've used a 14mm rail and the smaller pintle caps so they slot straight into the rb26 port. Haven't actually fitted it all yet though - can give it a trial fit tomorrow to check if that helps. I don't know about the std rail but the hks rail I had ran the injectors offset from the centre-line so I oversizing the holes wouldn't have worked too well.
  13. Thanks gents.. the manifold really is a very nice thing to look at. Mr Baron - yes full race manifold. Geoff talked me into an 88-75 with 1.00ar rear, it will be replaced by an efr down the track once they're 'sorted' and available (there was a lot of negativity around the time I ordered so I thought I'd bide my time!).
  14. Motivation... Re-tapped the manifold M10 x 1.5 for the inconel studs, quite the pita with very shallow tapped holes. Getting just on three turns on the shallowest of them which is border-line ok.
  15. I should add cams are to suit 32/33 gtr.
  16. Thanks Kitto - correct the type B are 260 and 9.15. The head was built by the previous owner with all std parts from Nissan.
  17. Poncams Type B - limited use (no marks, present as new) RB26 head, less than 10k km since complete rebuild. Head is complete minus manifolds and covers. Comes off my running rb26 - had no untoward valvetrain noise, cam clearances are spot on etc. This head with the type B poncams was making ~400rwkw with a gt35. I also have the standard cams so you can option the head with poncams or standard cams, or purchase the cams on there own (Poncams retain the standard base circle and are straight fit!). RB26 Head with poncams $1450 / RB26 Head with standard cams $950 / Tomei Type B Poncams $550 Pick-up in Perth, buyer pays shipping otherwise. pm or email [email protected]
  18. Not really much in the way of interesting updates. I've stripped all the sound deadening, hopefully picked up a fresh head with some larger cams, springs, retainers (more on this when it arrives) and the new turbo finally arrived. Geoff at fullrace talked me into going larger than I had originally planned, together with inconel studs etc.
  19. I also have 17 x 9.5 +30 up for grabs. Weight per wheel is ~7.5kg, clear 355's as you can see in the below images, a more attractive face type than the bronze ones as well.
  20. Sounds like your the only one getting your knickers in a twist over drifters being involved. I'll qualify by saying I'm not a big fan of drifting but once you get over the wow factor of the latest time attack cars or the suspense of finding out just how fast they can go, there isn't a lot to keep spectators interested. Of the super sprints I've been to you would be luckly if there was anyone in the crowd that wasn't a family member or close friend of the guys on the track! DA attracted an order of magnitude larger crowd.
  21. Ate inside and was back at the track in 30 odd minutes, beats track food! I wouldn't be spending the night there when the cbd is so close.
  22. There was a pub literally 3min drive from the track with good food (spotted Mr Berry and co there most evenings). Given how close the carpark was to the track and the lack of lines to get in I'm surprised the pub had a spare seat....
  23. Awesome build mate, going all out! Particularly like the fuel system set-up - have drawn up something similar for my old rig.
