  1. just measure it up once you have the wheels. mine has passed pits with bolt on spacers on the rear (WA). i recently had some made for the front to clear r32 four pots, they cost me 150 to have made inc metal, the drill bits to do it, and the labour. would cost approx 100ea to do it again tho, now i have the tools. get wheels which fit in the first place tho, saves the hassle. if you have wheels which do need speacers measure it up and have them made according to what you actually need, not what other people have since we all have them for different purposes (wider track , clear brakes, fit fat arse wheels etc)
  2. its not blown if its still driveable dude, just a bit old and tired. give it a freshen up like gts20x said and see how it goes, theyre meant to be an ultra strong diff apparently
  3. drifto, hook me up with the gtr cooler and custom plumbing for 500 hybrid end tanks closely resemble the gtr end tanks ive seem except for the rearward angle on the gtr tanks
  4. you make a good point sk something you havent covered tho, an a/l setup should you postive pressure at idle... this must help with launching a manual vehicle assuming sufficient traction?
  5. prob not, immacul8 has covered it well in his post. its up to you which you choose
  6. he said its not a hard cut, more like a repetitive breakdown. the plugs are worth a try, if it doesnt fix the problem get it checked out. Then again i wouldnt want to put too much boost through it if it hasnt been tuned with the the new turbs anyway
  7. on link the antilag chip is 160, email the link guys. should be a plug and play as well. but you do have to turn the motor off to turn the a/l on
  8. when is the latest to enter with the cheap deal? my car should be ready and tuned but any problems putting it back together and ill miss it
  9. just do the plugs first, with a small gap id say the problem will be gone
  10. antilag wont kill turbo's as quickyl as you think. i know of a subie thats been running the same vf22 for over two years and its only getting tired now, thats two years of mc type events. you can wind the antilag back so its not so agressive (and so you still have brakes at low speeds) link do it for line's i thought wolf did it as well?
  11. why not discuss facts rather than making it personal? you both know alot, enlighten us
  12. age and the ecu are the only points against the red top (eccs version)
  13. is there an awards list page to look at? nat's rex, ngh was indeed very tasty finnished at the last minute too
  14. old setup, fmic, safc, exh, small t3 highflow, pod= 192rwkw@1bar will have the new setup finnished soon with td06, gtr injectors, bigger pump, ecu. (std manifold/plenum/tb/coils etc) anyone had problems with the std coil packs at higher power levels? i was forced to run a really small gap on the plugs to stop it missfiring with the old setup already
  15. nice times dude, yours the black line that was being run in at sst a month or so back? sounded sweet on the dyno:)
  16. can get GTS four door pillarless as well, i have one they are slow stock, the ecu is a nightmare and the turbo's seem to die the instant they see 12psi+ (combine ceramic and old age) i think the brakes vary between models, i remember alot of people saying the imports have twin pots but mine were single piston but have been replaced now by r32 4pots which bolt on theyre all intercooled as well. with reasonable k's (under 100k) pay up to 9grand depending on mods. overall a good car if your prepared to spend a few grand on the suspension, turbo, ecu etc fixing inherant problems.
  17. thought they were 440cc??
  18. i get plenty of visilble gases coming out of the catch can at idle after some hard driving, but the can has never filled up any more than a drop or two when i check it? seems a bit weird. it doesnt blow smoke under load but occasionally pumps out a plume of smoke when backing off, say one in ten times of full load acceleration. not black or white, more a dark misty cloud that immediately dissapears. every other time its either blows a large flame or nothing at all. car doesnt burn any oil at all. has only happened since the exh sprung some large leaks and the cat 'blew'
  19. yeah the core itself looks identical to the hybrid ones. like ken said 550 or less with decent end tanks
  20. i think he supports the wa section of the club pretty well and helps out alot of people on here as does sydneykid. only natural those who know the most will clash occasionally, makes it more interesting:) no one else can argue with 'em hehe
  21. just plumb up the two cam breathers to a can of some description, use rubber/braid/silicone hose. Where the original hoses went into the plenum and inlet pipe are one way valves but i covered them up with rubber grommets regardless
  22. how do the rb30 internals handle that much revs?
  23. should get 200rwkw easy depending on the highflow, but with fuel pump, tune, cooler etc you'll make it
  24. whoa impressive, that power curve would be awesome running to 8000rpm with no boost drop...boost seems to hit hardaround 4500rpm. what manifold/turbo? cams?
  25. i didnt enter a v8 so no excuses guys, just a bit surprised at the rather poor attitude taken towards other performance cars. dont want to start a shit fight but there were cars making twice that power years ago at the summernationals. not to take anything away from the gtr's awesome performance tho, or any of the other cars there
